I’m getting around 75fps ultra settings with rtx 4090 and i9 12900, my cpu usage is 10% and gpu usage is 35% gaming at 1080p on 1920x1080 HDR G synce 280hz monitor if anyone know how to get better frames that would be appreciated im not sure how people get high fps with more gpu usage I even maxed all the slide bars for reflections and refresh rates on them and gpu went up to 43% usage

make sure your monitor is running at 280hz and tick Vsync In BeamNG display settings

Doubtful, at the exact same settings? 3050 is a super weak card and this map is quite gpu heavy

Hi @TnTTyler Nice comparison between the two CPUs. I've been wondering about a couple things: 1. Have you overclocked your i7-5775c since its max turbo frequency should be around 3.7GHz? (at least according to Intel). 2. Your CPU utilization was above 90% for the whole time which is odd in 4k, I think it's at its limit of being a bottleneck, but it is still not, you are right. 3. What motherboards are you using for the i7 vs the R7 and also what kind of ssd/hdd? (just wondering) Conclusion: The FPS are the same because your CPU is not affecting the performance of your 4090 at all and the 50ish FPS is the limit of the 4090 at native 4k and 100ish FPS at upscaled 4k. (which is also kind of odd because it's only using 8gb of its VRAM). That shows that the game is very stunning with very beautiful graphics, maybe the devs can optimize the performance a bit which I would find a bit unnecessary since the game is made for a good image quality and not high frame rates. Please reply to me what you think :D

5775c is running at 4.1ghz with a Gigabyte z97 motherboard. Running a 1TB KC3000 ssd on the MB's m2 slot

@@TnTTyler man, you have 2-3x performance here in this video compared to r7 7800xd because you enabled DLSS here in this video. Cpu bottleneck occurs above 70% cpu useage, and that can be seen in this video. In the linked video, you have 2-3x times less performance because dlss is not beign used. Plus when testing always check TDP %, GPU useage is not everything. TDP % shows how well the program is optimised or how well the card performs. On top of that: This old CPU and RAM combo cannot supply enough dataflow to the tested 4090. Simply the data bandwith and dataflow is not enough for that cutting edge card.

@@TnTTyler Because DLSS is not CPU related. And it is 100% not processor related at 4k resolution. DLSS lifts off some heavy lifting off of the GPU, not the CPU. Please learn about how DLSS works...

I had this CPU earlier also and i switched to AM5 Ryzen 7 7800X3D and my FPS in many games skyrocketed veryy high! :D Paired with 7900XTX GPU.

Sorry for the late reply, if you are wanting to run lots of AI cores, more cores are better so I would go with the 13700K over X3d.

@@TnTTyler Bummer, im looking at x3d cpus because they seem to be really good in MSFS and DCS games that i do want to play. So i did hear windows 11 upgraded their hardware scedualer so maybe it may of buffed the 7900x3d to be able to beat the 7800x3d in beamng? Not sure but ill see what ill do then, thanks for the help

This looks normal since Brake Limited Slip won't take effect until there is enough spin to engage the system. Also without turning off traction control, power reduction will keep happening. This is why a locking axle is so nice.

I'm absolutely shocked how well this game plays on an old CPU, granted the RTX 4090 is a beast of a GPU, but it seems the unreal engine (which this is based off of) is very good with using the GPU over the CPU. Its funny, this 5775c system and 4090, plays better than my laptop with i9 13900H and RTX 4060 (running at 1440p not 4K)

Your cpu is being bottlenecked by your 4090. Which is not good. But otherwise I'd say that the gameplay is really great considering you are at max settings on a 4k display.

you mean the other way around? I haven't uploaded yet but I have the same quick demo run on my 14900K and 7800X3D systems both with 4090 and I believe they were around 150fps vs the 80, but in reality no difference in playability

You can not start them because AI Mode was set to traffic but gridmap small does not have any roads. You need to set it to chase or flee.
