Great review.. Beautiful bike.. I did a test ride on the Maroon color one.. Loved its tourqey engine.. The thing that bothers me the most spoke wheels. Agree its retro looks n all.. But then again, if i get a puncture, then im stranded for hours..RE showroom guys says, u buy alloys n tubeless from outside.. As they don't have them as spares... Your thoughts on those wheels.. I think it will be better if we go for the single channel ones, as in the case of a puncture, there's less complication in getting the tyre removed.. Just my concerns😢

Im sure there are plenty of aftermarket tubeless options available, but have to admit in 30 years of riding, I’ve only ever had one puncture to a tubes tyre.

Thanks for this guys. No doubt there has been demand for the return of a larger 'classic' after the demise of the 500. There has also been much speculation about a 650 Scrambler (referred to as the Bear I think) being imminent. RE often drip feeds model variants, so do you think the Classic or the Scrambler might be first, or possibly do you think they might be released together? FYI, my interest is the Scrambler moreso than the Classic. Cheers.
@BikerTorque2 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching. So its a good point, and there is a very good chance that we might see both, just like when they originally released the Interceptor with the Continental GT together…but…if it’s a proper off road going scrambler you are after, I wouldn’t be waiting for the Scrambler 650, personally I would buy a Himalayan 450, because that bike rocks.
@Deepingpaul712 күн бұрын
Needs an air cooled single not just shoeing the interceptor engine into yet another model, even if it had to have a small radiator on it as a single I’d definitely buy it.

Same engine as gt, shotgun, int, ect. All the other parts are proportionate parts off the classic 350. How many ways can you package, market, and sell the same old pile of dogshit??? It will be fairly old news when it arrives in the united states, sales staff and service departments still have absolutely no knowledge of these machines. Parts are extremely hard to find in the United States if you do your own service, overall rather weak market in the united states. Everything pretty much sucks about the royal enfield in the U.S. market. Call the north America headquarters in Milwaukee and just ask some relatively obvious question. I almost guarantee you can hear crickets on the other end. And the absolute lies some of these dealerships will try to pull. Oh yeah, we are forced "by law" to charge 5 to 10 fees on top of the sales price. I say bullshit. I have been to a few dealerships that dont charge for freight, set-up, doc fees, ect. And then once the thing needs an oil change you get some young person with the social skills of a zoo animals messing up your bike. Oh, that will be $500. It is absolutely not the motorcycles fault. However everyone involved in the situation is a complete dysfunctional fool.

@@aaronbrewer1742 sounds a bit harsh on the mechanic, fair enough of a complaint if he/she messes up your bike, but their social skills shouldn’t necessarily come under fire. Some of the best mechanics I know are on the spectrum.
@aaronbrewer1742Күн бұрын
@geralddavison6307 I am OK with people having "spectrum issues." Usually very hard working and honest people. Here is my situation. 2022 royal enfield classic 350 purchased by me brand new. Of course it had a faulty speedometer instrument cluster. A well known warranty issue with this year, make, and model. The dealership wanted to charge me for the part and then the labor. I had to go above them and call royal enfield corporate of north America and explain my warranty claim. I get a very reluctant call from the dealership telling me when I could bring my bike in to have the cluster replacement. I get my bike back 90 minutes later. The new cluster is installed so loose that it rattles and hums. This kid, yes kid mechanic looks at me and says "that is as good as I can do." He then says "it is what it is." It's just this "fuck you" attitude that they all have at most dealerships that I have been to. So yeah, I am going to be a bit "honest" about my experience. They are on a "spectrum " for sure....

This is what I've been waiting for... since the baffling discontinuation of the 500. This typed, I'm confused, as the Bullet is traditionally a (single cylinder) thumper... which I thought might be why it's been delayed (to develop a more powerful engine on par with their recent work). While it may have the look, can this bike be a "real" Bullet if it isn't a thumper? Still, I'm the target audience. Fingers crossed it turns out well!

Never thought I would like a Burgandy/Cream colour scheme. But this will be the third bike that I have seen it on and liked it. The first was a 90's Moto Guzzi Cali and the second, a mid 2000'2/2010's Triumph Rocket 3. Smart marketing by Royal Enfield not releasing the whole range of 650's at the same time. Gives each one a time to shine in the sales room and for the media to review. Hope you get one to review when they come out.
