My teacher handed me the worksheet. Vs Mr. G handed me the worksheet. Immediately the second sentence becomes more personal and specific to your experience! It’s especially important to “namedrop” in essays about community, because to me it doesn’t make sense to talk about community without letting us know WHO you are actually serving.
