@hero_kid8411 Unfortunately the game updates are considered game data not save data and distribution is piracy. Save data like dlc content is allowed to be shared but we can't hand out the update files

I can't seem to get rid of this weird ghosting affect on weapons/parts of the character. I am running version 1.1 with trinity disabler cheat, which I thought would solve it... but it doesn't.

@Gr0nal grab our cheat codes list. In it, the turn bloom/3D effects off code will take care of the ghosting

For some reason I can start the game fine. But as soon as I choose New Game or continue Citra just freezes. It's beyond frustrating trying to figure all of this stuff out. Help would be appreciated

@@mr.madness1695 When the cheats are disabled the game plays and can get past start screen. I guess the 1.1 patch isnt applying? Is there anyway to check to see if the 1.1 patch is applied?

@@Cthulhudud3 It might be what version of the game you have. Cheats are region specific. So if you have an EU version of the game, they may be causing them to crash. You are welcome to hop on our discord. One of my mods bundled like, every controller and cheat into both a citra and lime emulator for community ease of use you can grab. I think it would be your fastest bet at getting things going. Its in our announcements in the pinned comments!

@@mr.madness1695 from your suggestion i found the root of the issue was because I am using the Eur version of the game. I found the right codes and they work flawlessly. Thank you for the extensive help. It can be frustrating getting it all working, but when it all falls into place it's like a dream.

Mr. Madness, thank you for these high quality citra and ppsspp tutorials! Two questions: Question 1: Whenever I tab out of the emulator, it seems to destabilize the program eventually leading to a crash. It starts as periodic stuttering and music glitches in the village areas, then longer load screens and saving screens, and then culminates in a crash several quests later. Is this a fullscreen problem or do I need to pause the emulator to tab out safely? Question 2: I'm a solo hunter, so the mandatory monster health scaling in g-rank will frustrate me to no end. Do you know of any cheats that scale the monster's health down to single player values?

@asval_leioulus25 That's illegal distribution of copyright material, which is piracy. Unfortunately unless you have the materials and equipment to pull your own roms from your 3DS you cannot do this

@CobraNeoYT The Pablomk7 Citra fork, and Lime3DS both work. We have new fully configured emulator packages on the discord so you can skip most of the setup these days, and we have a brand new multiplayer network as well. Likely to redo all tutorial content in the next few weeks!

Tried going through this tutorial, but I keep getting an error message that says ROM encrypted when I reached the part to start the game to create a save. The files I have are Monster Hunter xx - Double Cross (Japan) (dot) 3ds MHXX-Update-v1.4.0-(English Full Patch) (dot) cia << ! MHXXFinalPatchV3.1(NoCrossplay) (dot) cia I know the update file I have isn't the one you have, but I can't find that anywhere. Could you please provide me with it? @yaseennoor6250 I cannot provide game data as I have a zero tolerance policy on piracy, but all you need to go look up is how to decrypt your game date. A quick Google search will get ya going!

@@cc3mita The newest versions of citra or Lime3DS all have corrected the cutsceen issues. The charm table fix comes from the MH HD project discord, and they have a whole 3U section for mods and game adjustments! I would recommend moving over to lime, I'll be making that recommendation when I redo our tutorials in a few weeks

@@mr.madness1695 Thanks for the quick reply. Are there any specific reasons why you recommend moving to Lime? Apart from being actively developed unlike Citra (rip), which I guess is the main reason. Is it a hassle to move my save + HD textures and the mods to Lime? I had the impression Lime didn't provide any significant "benefits" over using Citra, which is why I went with Citra in the first place. Anyway thanks again for the guide, really looking forward to playing this game and experiencing the online part, which I missed out on years ago. Cheers.
