This isn't just the world ventriloquist champion. He's my great-uncle and I watched him several times as a kid poking skat cards into a wooden wall. (Dies ist nicht nur der Weltmeister im Bauchreden. Er ist mein Großonkel und ich habe ihm mehrmals als Kind dabei zugesehen, wie er Skatkarten in eine Holzwand gespickt hat.)

My aunt met Ray Allen and interviewed him for a TV programme in 1987 called The Ultimate Machine.

It was a complement. We borrow from each other all the time. But his routine was all his own. He didn't still an entire routine. Just the idea. And he didn't do a head in a box, which was Senor Wences routine. Most vents have a lot of respect for Senor Wences and no one, because of this, has ever attempted to repeat the head in a box, which was an wonderful accident that he used to his advantage.
