Is there a reason besides weight that yall be using the regular cab for these builds? Can you push the same power with a crew or extended cab or does the wheelbase create problems?

1 thing I hate personally is that audis DO NOT hold their value. As great as the RS7 is their value from a 2017 model being purchased today is almost 50% off its original MSRP price.

I heard the Arabs in Saudi Arabia buy that G Wagon, prob the AMG version, some go crazy on their sand dunes all day, up the steep sand hill and if it flips over, roof or side caves in when the truck flips over or something, they just buy a new one and do it all over again. Apparently a disposable truck in Saudi Arabia 👀 lol

It’s so bad that it’s so good, car guys will understand 😅 for the money you can definitely get something faster and way comfier but nothing comes close to the uniqueness of a G. And surprisingly quite ‘reliable’, not Japanese reliable but for a german car, one of the best reliability I’ve experienced

It makes sense since Mercedes-Benz owns Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler, and Mercedes-Benz puts a lot of its engineering into those cars.

In Australia we have a statutory warranty for 3 months or 3,000 miles. Dealerships by law must fix any issues within that timeframe. Should get the same thing going for all 50 states. Plus name and shame this dealership they knowingly set you up with this.

One thing to point out, could be wrong, I do not think you can get the Tremac 6 speed with the GTs, it has to be the Dark Horse. I am playing with the build a car on Ford website and GTs onlybhave the standard 6 speed which I heard isn't a great transmission.

I loooove my model Y, I don't have an issue with mileage because I drive in town. I'm a trucker, been so since 2006 so I drive a lot more than the average person, yet I LOVE MY MODEL Y! sure it takes a lot longer to charge and the range isn't that great, 227 at 80% but I only drive 20-30 miles a day! And if I go on road trips, I plan my routes accordingly.

The real title should be why kids shouldn't be driving these cars and how it will cripple your finances for several years if they buy one, unless they still live with mommy and daddy.

It sounds like a 4 cylinder car now dont know if thats due to exhaust or the heads, ive seen 2000 hp GTR that still sound like a GTR, thats why im afraid modifying mine too much and ruin that beautiful unique sound only GTR have, i have 1100hp on mine i will just leave it like that

With something as complicated as wiring harnesses for modern cars, its always best to start "high level" in the branch of wiring, typically areas that take power and ground from the battery and distribute/branch them to various different components. A fuse box is a good example. In the case of a suspected short somewhere, you just want to test these high level wires/pins to see if there is continuity between ground and power. For example, if a main power pin for the ignition relay has continuity with ground, then you know the short is somewhere in the ignition system.
