Anybody ever remove the door to make it all easier? I'm going to try it, but would like to hear from others' experiences.

Why do people mix baking soda and vinegar for cleaning? Is there something about a neutral acetate? I'd use one or the other, not both.

Vinegar and baking soda cancel each other out. One is high pH and other low pH. The baking soda will have some grittiness which will help but using them separately would be better.

IDEA! Don’t allow so much grease and crud to build up and bake onto the poor oven. Yes, that means CLEANING after use! Don’t just go on and on and on using it with whatever is being cooked run and drip into the tray without CLEANING. Then, the task will not be so MONSTROUS! Just a THOUGHT.

Just ignore the soiling on the crumb tray. It's polymerised oils and sugars (plastic). It causes no problems. As for a suggestion, when listening to music like that, it's best to use a long metal skewer inserted forcefully into one eardrum, through the brain and out the other eardrum - good as new!

I’m doing this now - praying it works! We just moved into our brand new home. I can’t believe I put the grease down the drain. 😭

@@e.h97 it sure did! And let me tell you - I could see the super thick layer of grease in the garbage disposal before I tried it. I had just dumped an entire crockpot down the drain. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think the trick is doing it immediately. After I called my husband in a panic, I frantically began searching and tried the first thing I found on YT, which was this video, and BOOM - it worked!

This was really helpful. You see I love to make omelets and sandwiches. When it comes to omelettes and sandwiches, I love putting bacon in those. It took me many years to learn why my kitchen drain was clogged

I suggest taking a dishwasher pod, cut off a corner sprinkle some of the powder on the black crust, use a green scrubbing pad side of a sponge and begin scrub. have a scraper handy too. Maybe soft scrub. Use scraper to get excess off, then elbow grease to work to metal. Rinse, maybe use vinegar paste soak and eventually it will come clean, mostly ;). thanks for your video.

EVERY washing machine manufacturer recommends users to never prerinse. It may seem counterintuitive but not only does it save your time and GALLONS of water, all newer washers work more efficiently when smaller particles of food are left on all dishes. It allows detergent to "grab" onto dishes and the particles are good abrasive scrubbers on the dishes! Just dry scrape with a spoon or spatula and load! 😊

Dremel with wire brush or a paint scraper can remove the tray buildup. Both methods will scratch it a bit

Ya - you have to cut the “sheets” to size

I use BBQ GRILL sheets with magnets to hold it up to the walls inside . The “ Sheets “ are high heat resistant and catches the grease / protects the walls inside .

You lost me at vinegar baking soda. It foams, but it just makes salt water. Choose one or the other.

I saw, on either Target or Amazon's website, a promotional demonstration video for the BBQ Scrub Daddy. it said to heat the BBQ at 300 degrees soak the BBQ daddy and steam clean the BBQ that way. I can't help but wonder if that would work for the oven tray as well.

The weekly schedule is manageable. Break it into smaller tasks, and then spread them over 2 or 3 days. Follow the same system every week. So even if you do them every Tuesday & Thursday (not the whole thing, but broken in half), it’s still weekly.

I USUALLY USE SOS SOAP PADS, COMET, AND A STAINLESS STEEL PAD. I ALWAYS COVER THE CRUMB TRAY AND THE BOTTOM AND BACK OF THE CONVECTION OVEN WITH ALUMINUM FOIL HELD BY A SMALL PIECE OF MASKING TAPE, FOLDED ON ITSELF. EASIER CLEANUP.
