I gotta leak from head gasket i saw it from underneath but it doesn't do this it doesn't habe bubbles in the radiator cap when i start it

@@mechanixautorepair the hose isn't clogged, yet the floorboard is wet. Under the dash is got some moisture, I just don't know where it's coming from or where to go from there...thanks for the reply👍🏻👍🏻

Blown head gasket does NOT mean “need a new engine” It means it needs a Good, HONEST mechanic to fix it. flush the engine and make sure there is no scoring on the sleeves (cylinder walls, put a new gasket on, check to see if head is warped, if not then reinstall and if it in warped, have the head shaved or a new head. ETC ETC ETC

The cost of labor and parts if it needs a new head aren't worth the risk to tear it down , so yes it does need a new engine and a good honest mechanic will tell you that it's Not worth repairing! We actually just had one that had a blown head and we tore it down and sure enough the block was cracked! Engines nowadays are cast aluminum and not like 50 years ago when it was just a block of steel

Open the glove box and squeeze the sides that are holding it in place of the car and it should pop right out

What you need a A new car for you fix the head gasket dummy you do not have to have a new engine for a fucking blown head gasket. i’m theses KZbinrs sometimes don’t know what they talking about

Just happened to me. I thought someone stuck a wig in my pipe. At first I thought it was a critter tail sticking out. Couldn't believe how long it was as I cautiously pulled it out. Wasn't too far from the Ford dealer so I drove there in a panic. 😁 They laughed when I brought that thing in, dirty hands and all. They know I'm a drama queen. They said not to worry and it's been happening quite a bit. Now I will be l👀king to see if I spot it on other trucks.

I wonder if the blown head gaskets are somehow tied to the Variable valve lift, it seems to be the only difference in the engine from the other 3.6L pentastar that didn't have Head Gasket problems.🤔

That's not a bad theory there are a couple specs that differ between the 3.6 pen and the 3.6 with vvt 1. The compression ratio is 11.3:1 for the Pacifica and 10.2:1 for the old 3.6 2. The listed max horsepower is 283 for the old and the new says "283-305" and I would assume you get the higher horsepower with the vvt activated... And lastly they both list the same headgasket thickness and cylinder head flatness so definitely a good theory they basically boosted this engine with out changes to the headgasket specs!

You just ruined the heat treat on that box end wrench the wrench will be rounded off next. Use the impact to get it off while it's still hot. It's best if you stop at the stage where only the nut is glowing

That ball joint is so busted that you could use whatever you want to loosen it including torch. Best cut it with angle grinder.

Happened to me yesterday. I discovered it when I was walking out of Menards towards my truck. I had been at a Dollar store earlier and thought someone stuck a wig up my pipe! I drove to the Ford dealer in a panic and they laughed. Guess it's normal with F-150's. 😁 Freaked me out.

Did you know? You can open a Master Lock with another Master Lock.

This is classic masterlock! It's the Dorman of Locks😂 On the key ones even when there is something holding it down they can be raked in 2 seconds. Some of them you can use a comb pick like a key.
