No this is made with two part resin. I’ve resin and alcohol inks don’t work together very well in my experience

Thanks so much for subscribing. The white is resin tinted with the sinker white alcohol ink. White pigment paste also works but be very careful not to use too much.

Unfortunately alcohol inks are not color save and the color will fade in the sun.

So yes you are correct alcohol inks do seem to fade but I’ve been doing my own test and have had few sitting out in the sun and matching ones sitting in an envelope in a drawer for six months or so and they are still looking really good. Yes you can see a bit of fade but overall I’m happy. I will do a video on this some time in the future to show how little they have faded. I’m using let’s resin alcohol inks

Question - did you seal the inside of the candle container? I am hesitant to use the Mix2Mold sealant as I have no idea if it is safe with a burning candle as they don’t tell you what it’s made from. I made a couple candle containers with Mix2Mold and loved the results but I only sealed the bottom of the container with the Mix2Mold sealant and then the outside of the container with a beeswax sealant. I’m thinking the inside should have been sealed with something as well but I only just poured the wax without sealing the inside and that was probably a mistake. Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I did not use anything to seal it before making the candle. I’ve already had three of them burn no issues and just going to refill them over and over again. If I have any issues I will update

You MUST seal them for candle vessels and the mix2mold sealer is just fine. I've made a lot of candles with them sealed from brea reese. You can also use earth safe finishes, I think that's their name? But these vessels are porous. If you don't seal them as the manufacturer of the product instructs you to for candle use, and there is a fire: you're on your own as far as liability.
