I think you kind of circumvent the point my Senior on why the King despised Obote. Frankly Obote arguably was not the fit candidate to be prime minister( he was a political novice) among men like Ben Kiwanuka and IK kaganve Musaazi. The alliance between KY and UPC in my own view and humble opinion was to quench the ego of the King that he was going to work, for lack of a better word, an under dog.
