Please do a separate video on those hymns (Amazing Grace, Power in the Blood, etc) that you quickly presented.

good video - bit confused around 12 mins when it moves to Abadd2 run - as you show starting on C which is the 3rd but had previously suggested starting on the 5th which unelss I have ir wrong would be the Eb or are you suggesting / saying that when flat better to start with 3rd - thanks

Sorry for the confusion. When there are black notes I find it best to change the beginning note of the run so that the thumb can play the white note. It can be very cumbersome to play the black notes in a run with the thumb. Hope that helps!

Abraços do Brasil 🇧🇷!!!

Thank you so much. I am 56 years old started taking lesson on and off in classical and realized that it’s not a type of music for me. I love to sing when playing. So, started getting into chords playing pop songs. This is a big help for me enhancing chords sounds instean of just keep banging keys.

Thanks for posting this tutorial. This seems to bridge the gap in my learning of interesting creative left land walking patterns in hymn playing. Providing the lesson sheet and demonstrating the walks to the keyboard helps my learning since I tend to be more of a note reader than an ear player! Would you consider doing a companion tutorial with right hand fills to this hymn?
