Great review, I recently bought this model, the gsr version, and is very powerful. I am using the gsr 18v-110c for years and there is a difference in power and torque. But this one is also bigger and heavier than the older version. Kick back control is a great thing. I need the Bluetooth module to see if the kick back sensitivity can be adjusted.

Thank you for the support! 🙌🏼. I had another Bosch model and was surprising to see the difference of power in between the two. But it is indeed much heavier 😊

@@RinaGiulivi The kickback control sensitivity can be adjusted only on the older gsr 18V-110C. On this new one you can simply turn on or off.

I can't control this sensitivity! Maybe with the Bluetooth module you are able to adjust , but I don't have it, so I can't really confirm it 🤔

You need to sign up to their newsletter on the website. They send email when they will provide certain tool for testing! 😉

You made it too damn pretty to use. Guess you'll hang it up on your shop walls so you can just admire it. And wait on your neighbors to wander over and ask, where did you get that mallet? Then you can stand tall with chest all puffed out and tell them how you made it and give them their very own copy of this KZbin video so they can share in your majesty at home. Be ready for one of them to ask if they can use it to split some firewood with it for the winter. Good job, the mallet is very nice I'm jealous. 👍

I just used reclaimed wood and this one is the best I had on hands! This mullet will be used mainly with chisel. I think will be strong enough 😉! Thank you for the comment 🙏🏼

@@fabz_studio I made my first one last summer from black walnut and Chinese elm. While it looks pretty good, I ran into the exact same situation you did, and actually corrected it the same way you did. I think yours looks better by far.
