This is my theme song right now😢❤🇺🇸🙏🏼. WE never stopped being great. We always have room to improve. We have the right to disagree with each other without fear and to believe or not believe whatever spiritual beliefs we choose and that is not a threat to Christianity or any other religion. Do NOT throw these freedoms away by voting for a Tyrant. If elected, Trump WILL eventually strip all the freedoms we all cherish when he nulls and voids our constitution. It may start just with those you disagree with but it WILL NOT END THERE! Don’t let ALL those who died to give us our freedoms 🇺🇸have died in vain!

Down to the River to Pray As I went down in the river to pray Studying about that good old way And who shall wear the starry crown Good Lord, show me the way! O sisters, let's go down, Let's go down, come on down O sisters, let's go down Down in the river to pray As I went down in the river to pray Studying about that good old way And who shall wear the robe and crown Good Lord, show me the way! O brothers, let's go down Let's go down, come on down Come on, brothers, let's go down Down in the river to pray As I went down in the river to pray Studying about that good old way And who shall wear the starry crown Good Lord, show me the way! O fathers, let's go down Let's go down, come on down O fathers, let's go down Down in the river to pray As I went down in the river to pray Studying about that good old way And who shall wear the robe and crown Good Lord, show me the way! O mothers, let's go down Let's go down; don't you want to go down? Come on, mothers, let's go down Down in the river to pray As I went down in the river to pray Studying about that good old way And who shall wear the starry crown Good Lord, show me the way! O sinners, let's go down Let's go down, come on down O sinners, let's go down Down in the river to pray As I went down in the river to pray Studying about that good old way And who shall wear the robe and crown Good Lord, show me the way!

My brother introduced me to The Corrs and gave me their In Blue album. This song grabbed my attention and has never let go. I dunno - somewhere it speaks to something deep inside me. I can relate to the sense of abandonment and the faint ray of hope that things will somehow change. Somebody For Someone

Man! That is 'Command of the House' right there! I'll bet hearing her voice acapella is akin to hearing an actual angel for the first time. In songs like this, she can put a sweetness and delicacy in her delivery that is a very powerful tool for a musician/vocalist. (I might have to see if a DVD of this concert exists - stellar sound quality.)

Except, there is no god. Humans have tried to do this for forever. We want to both live and protect. Our earth IS our protector. End the war against our planet Earth, and we'll be good.

If only humans would understand that "god" is man made, and we humans need to give up that man made myth and start taking care of our earth.

That has been proposed by John Lennon, and now again by you, even after another LENIN broke many millions of (human) eggs, (just because they believed in God, or otherwise seemingly got in the way of making the particular type of atheistic omelet he desired. Do you want to repeat that? I hope not. I IMAGINE that repeating something that has not worked, without thinking deeply about WHY it didn't work, is the late great Einstein's definition of insanity. He did not believe in a "personal" (perhaps he meant by using the term "personal", an "anthropomorphic") God. In short, a "bearded sky daddy." Well, I do not believe in a bearded sky-daddy either. I believe the One Who Creates is so far from being anthropomorphic th Listen: IF there is no God, how would a man-made "god" be any more or less meaningful than your project to care for the planet? And, let's say you achieve your goal and care for the planet? Isn't then Mother Earth your highest goal, your "goddess"? She would be far better than many goals/goddesses. As Sam says in Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" amid mounting challenges, "There IS some good, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for." Yet how will your distant descendants protect her when the sun eventually turns into a red giant and swallows and melts her down? And if somehow they manage that, can they reverse the flow of entropy in an increasingly disorderly universe? Finally, the ultimate question: how is it that we have an orderly universe now, that we can observe and think about and experiment upon? If there is no eternal Someone that made it and keeps it going, how is it that we are here? You can't even have a quantum fluctuation, or have multiple universes, or whatever, without some orderly laws governing that process, even if only probabilistically. To quote the late great Stephen Hawking's profound and haunting question: "What breathes fire into the equations to give us a real universe?"....

... somehow, part of a line wasn't in the comment I sent. Let me clarify. I began to say that I do not believe God is some kind of superbeing within the universe and influencing its course (like the Greco-Roman Zeus-Jupiter, and, to a lesser degree, all the polytheistic pantheon). I do not and would not worship any such being as my Author; they would at best be adapting the Original Story for television. That's not to say they couldn't be very handy at persuading the sun not to turn into a red giant. It might be right and proper to carefully and thoughtfully open diplomatic relations with them; for all their superpowers, they would still be on the same level of existence with us....

Can we please acknowledge how the crowd seemed shy at first and how little by little Jessie effortlessly won their trust and then everybody seemed so loose and happy? She surely walked unknown for some, but walked away with their hearts? Also how much Jessie has changed some of her songs that make many of us a special edition of those beautiful arrangements. And ughhhhhhhhhhh the musicians were so precise and lovely, it felt like they composed every song, made them theirs. The whole thing felt raw, perfectly imperfect.
