Yes, for the last car purchase I made one visit/test drive and then went to another garage to purchase. As you say Paul, I had carried a lot of online research of reviews to help me decide on the right one. Other times in the past, I have turned up and seen one I liked - more of an impulse buy.

Frome is a beautiful quiet town in Somerset , really nice local ppl .I worked on the bridge balti delight many years ago but now it's closed permanently

What this actually does is a public nuisance for us locals,both environmentalally and practically. Traffic gets shifted to portway in Frome increasing by traffic pollution for the family that live in that area. Cars literally park ANYWHERE throughout the town in front of peoples driveways footpaths grass verges. An absolute menace of an event.

Yet it also draws huge crowds and puts us on the map and is vital for our community. If it was as much of a menace to the community as you say then the local council would have used covid as an excuse to discontinue it... Yet they continue it. Don't be so miserable, it's one day a month that you can prepare for.

I noticed in your video, that you were enjoying a drink at the Drunken Duck at Barngates. While you were there, did you hear the story of how the pub got its strange name? You may have noticed that there's a pond adjacent to the pub; Years ago the lady who ran the pub, went out to the pond to feed the ducks that always swam there, only to find them all apparently dead on the banks of the pond. Not wanting to waste them (Free Meat!!) she gathered up the bodies and took them into her kitchen where she proceeded to pluck out all their feathers. She was plucking the last of the ducks when they all started to move, and come around from the state of unconsciousness that had been effecting them. On later checking the pub cellar, she discovered that one of the barrels of ale had a loose metal hoop, which had made the wooden planks in the barrel work loose: the ale inside had leaked out and seeped out of the cellar onto the grass that surrounded the duck pond. It turned out that the ducks hadn't been dead when she found them, only paralytically drunk. Luckily the (newly naked) ducks all recovered, and the pub's landlady soothed her conscience by knitting little pullovers for each of the ducks to wear until their feathers grew back, and from then on, the pub was named 'The Drunken Duck'

What exactly is it supposed to mean "She's very Northern". Is she ashamed of her own mother. If she has had speech lessons she is obviously ashamed of her background. I hate that with a vengeance.

Just saw her interviewed in China and she's totally had speech lessons, she talks very differently now :D

Remember, the video has been digitised from a VHS recording of a TV program so I think much of the colour is washed out (certainly my hair is much lighter now) :)

Great review. Anker has 'reduced the cost' of their product again by now NOT including ANY connectors. You just get a USB-to-Micro USB cable that by the way doesn't work for Nexus 7 (you have to use the original cable). And they did this without any notice and while still including paperworks referencing connectors. Pretty pathetic.
