@@killooa5863 hi! You would need to find a salon that does builder gel overlays. Not all salons do! And yes ask for a builder gel fill!

I use both the original size and small size! Typically I use the original size for pouring over and then the small size when I do glitters so that the glitter is concentrated in one area and it’s easy for me to lay my nail right on it! sj3designs.com/products/dipcup-liner

Have you done a negative space chrome? Like the ring, oval chrome look on a nail? Those are pretty but mine didn't turn out exact 🫠

@NicolesBeautyScene just a successful way to get the mani complete with them. Dip, gel, polygel. I dabble in all of them. Just not acrylic.

Random question.. what stays better BG or regular dip? Right now I use BG on my motjer n law and she washes her hands more than the average person. Wondering if clear dip would last long....or maybe its my BG process

@@sueann2555 for me - builder gel stays longer and I wash my hands an insane amount of time! It could be your prep or the products! Let’s start with prep- what’s your prep?

Your nails are soooooo destroyed!!!Thin and red..Tooooo much drilling on the surface of natural nails!Not recomended to do it specialy with that red "stone" papire!Imagine what would this doo to a beginer!!NO!!!

Since you activated the half and half nail, did you have to do something extra before capping in clear? I tried this and the liquid just worked like a top coat and powder didn’t stick.

@@kaylareynolds7401 you have to make sure that the activator is totally dry before applying base dip liquid over it to top with clear. Also- I’m not sure how it works with all dip liquids! Even though I’ve tried over 35 brands of dip liquids- I’ve only tried this technique with 3 brands and they’re all high quality dip liquids! Hope that helps!

So when you want to change the dip color do you file the dip color off and re apply the builder gel and then do the dip with another color?

@@abominationangel yep!! And if it’s been a few weeks, you would file a little of the builder gel down to rebalance the apex when you do the fill. Then you can dip again over it!

Hi nice work! If you bump a nail and it comes off, do you have damage on the nail? With the apres gel x extend gel your nails are not getting damage, but they are so expensive!

I think this mani is beautiful and because you mentioned how well the gels work as a one-coat gel polish, I was wondering how well they would work using them as stamping polish? Have you tried it yet? It seems like they work great as gel paint! 🌻 😉
