I definitely think it’s a great tool for people who struggle to stick with habit trackers using conventional reward systems. It makes the process a lot more fun! If you join a guild with others (and find a good one), the daily messages of encouragement can be really motivating. For me, though, it added extra steps that I didn’t really need. While it was enjoyable, I already have other activities in my life that are fun and fulfill that same need. A standard habit tracker works well for me because it keeps things simple and lets me focus on completing my habits and getting to work without spending extra time in the tracker itself. That said, if you’re looking for a little extra motivation, it can definitely be a big help!

You're right, the heat map is missing in Habitica and is a huge thing for many people! I'll say I have found myself going back to using Tick Tick and Notion and haven't missed the Habitica side of things at all personally. It was fun to play with, but that's it. I'd say it's much better for people who are new or having trouble sticking to a to do list app and need that extra gamification to keep them interested.

That's really weird. It's not a normal issue, but maybe someone else in the comments has a fix for you! I would suggest using steamlink app on oculus now if you are able. It works great honestly.

Outside what I have in this video I don't have any other suggestions outside it being a router issue. That's what it ends up being 95% of the time from my experience of helping people. Maybe someone else has some suggestions in the comments, sorry!

Yes and no. It doesn't work simply cause there isn't a url to grab from tiktok, however, there are programs you can download and run on your pc to pull your tiktok chat when streaming and then you can pull that in. It's a bit of a pain but once you get it setup, it's good going forward for the most part unless tiktok does a big update and then you have to wait for the program to update. I can't remember the name of the program I used so you'll have to do some searching, sorry!

Get a better headstrap.

I'd say it's the headstrap, especially if you are using the default one. I get motion sickness pretty regularly, unfortunately, and it never makes the back of my head hurt personally. I have never used the default headstraps, they suck.

Sure I get that, but whether that's what gamification serves or doesn't serve it still produces a product of efficiency or lack thereof which I think is an important aspect for people to consider as for myself. I also enjoy making things "more fun" by using gamification so saying it's only for people who struggle doesn't make sense... If you don't struggle you can't enjoy making something more fun?

Yeah, the 3 is a great one to get in to vr with. IMO it's the best one to get started with if you have the money to go that deep in right away! It's the best headset cost wise for performance imo.

Could be a hardware issue, it's not happening over airlink for example is it? Like only if you connect to a pc via airlink? If so, it could just be a wifi issue. But if it's doing it even in standalone mode, sounds like a hardware issue!

Really? I haven't had any real issues with it. I think there are things they could have done diff for sure, but overall I've been having a blast playing it again. I find myself constantly going back and forth between the newer sprites and older ones tho. I can't decide!!!

a lot of people don't seem to like the new sprites...at least some of them. I thought they were okay but I do find myself going back and forth...but I think for me it's just a nostalgia thing.
