I also wanted to say the hospital might not be the correct setting. It takes weeks and months to learn everything. The training is very important

Let me tell you from my experience, it took me 8 months to feel confident as an admitting worker at a busy UC clinic. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you, also this is how I felt for the whole first 3 months there.

Thank you for your honest feedback, its been quite some time since you've posted this, hope all is well. 🙏🏾 but just out of curiosity, why didn't you go back to the Kitchen?
@EazyDuzIt10 ай бұрын
Thank you so much, I hope all is well with you as well! In all honesty, I didn’t go back to the kitchen because I wanted a pay increase. At the time, they were only offering part time or per diem positions as well and I was only interested in full-time.

Hey, this was a while back so maybe you’ll answer? But I hope you found a job that suits you better! Maybe about a month ago now I had left patience access. I was only there for 2 weeks which was how long their training was. I had got the job recommendation from a girl who was in the same boat I was in and she’d been looking around for jobs too. Im pretty sure she still works as a patient rep too! Super proud of her because I also couldn’t adjust to it, but she could! From everyone I worked with, they all said “you find your own flow” or “it’s repetitive, easy work.” For me that just wasn’t the case. I struggled and partially it’s just because it didn’t come natural to me but also no one really took the time to train me hands on. For the first week I was watching multiple people do it. I even expressed to them that I’m a hands on worker. When I worked in triage somedays I picked everything up within a day. That’s because the girl training me had me hands on the very first day I was in triage. I also wanna mention, some of the women I worked with were shady. The ones I became cool with were all there to help me learn the job better but the ones that wouldn’t approach me would just glare at me when really I found that admirable because honestly , it’s hard work and I wanted to be like one of them when I worked in that role. I don’t take stuff like that too person because to be honest I work to make money, not friends. But some of those girls up there seemed really cool, they just were uninterested in training me and making me good like they were. Overall, just wasn’t for me. I loved the hospital environment though because that’s where I will be pursuing a career!

Ugh I’m in the same boat. It’s challenging so far and I’m not used to feeling lost and confused, usually I pick things up fairly quickly. My training is coming to an end soon and I feel like I will ve 80% ready. Only downfall is I will be graveyard shift working alone, so I feel like I will be lost the first month

thank you for all the information, I just applied today but I want to know how much is good to ask for a Registrar position??
@EazyDuzIt Жыл бұрын
So when I got the position a few years back, I only made $12 an hour. I’m not sure what the standard is nowadays but, I would say at least $15-16

'everything holding me back' these motivational quotes can be cut out cause this is unhealthy and toxic for a social animal like a human.
@EazyDuzIt Жыл бұрын
How so?
@KenshiImmortalWolf Жыл бұрын
@@EazyDuzIt Because it comes off as if cutting out things that are needed such as other people is some how going to help me when in all honesty the quotes themselves are unhelpful. It's one thing when they talk about cutting out people who are bad for you but a lot of these quotes specially this one come off as if some how cutting out everyone is going to benefit you. It won't. Human's are social animals we need interaction to stay socially and mentally healthy.

Try telling them that when you get in the game And then come upstairs trying to shoot you in hard-core because you’re not pushing to their delight or try being in the lobby with the win freak and tell me what you thinking about what she said
