I purchased the black belt series about a month ago. I am getting ready to pay my membership and test. I really enjoyed this video. It has given me perspective in training henka. I already knew you could play with the timing, foot work, etc. I never thought about the angle of the takedown, or reversing the body in the same manner as henka. Great lesson. Would you mind showing some kick defenses in the future? Both from our system and other types. Thanks so much Shidoshi.

I'm surprised more martial arts school are not pursuing nature skills as part of their curriculum. The connection seems obvious to me. In fact I learned about Tom Brown from a fellow Muay Thai student, and met a Bujinkan student at one of Brown's Standard classes. Glad to see more people are making the connection.

This is just superb, I have been researching "learning powerful methods to build your Chi energy" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Fellmeroni Rudimentary Chi - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my m8 got excellent success with it.

On the topic of disguise and impersonation skills, have you ever heard of the grayman concept that's used in intelligence and security circles? OnPoint Tactical talks a lot about that in their Urban Escape & Evasion courses. You can use bird language and tracking principles of concentric rings, baseline (both in appearance and gait/posture), zones of disturbance and patterns of alarm etc in urban environments. It could be a really edgy cloak and daggers thing or it could be people clowning and playing and making fun of it by deliberately breaking the norm as Improv Everywhere does with their various scenes intended to create "chaos and joy". That's actually fun to do because they have to map out approach angles, zones and sectors, cover ID's etc it's both tactical and very lighthearted at the same time.
