Thank you, it was a great moment but you always have to be very careful because the whales that are playful like that can always hurt you without any aggression when they come so close especially since it weighed at least two tons.

This one was in May 2019, there is orca all year in French Polynesia but it’s rare to see them, even during the whales season you need to be really lucky to get the chance to see them. Last year at least 3 or 4 times they have been seen around Bora and the last one was two weeks before Christmas.

@@rheavine1455 you’re welcome. I saw them 3times in 2019, I swam with also. It was a dream, i am the first in French Polynesia who swam with them , nobody did it before ! 😉 You have to come at the whales season (august to November) if also you want swim with humpback whales ; come and join us 😉

I would be the first one to jump in oh, this is my dream I absolutely love killer whales. But I would also make sure I'm respecting their space I'm giving them the choice to come and swim with me. They are beautiful magnificent and intelligent animals

This is how all Orca and dolphins should be enjoyed, observed, and learned from not from Marine Parks such as Sea World and other sea circus aquariums. Stop buying a ticket save money and visit whales in their natural habitat swimming free in all oceans of the world.

How would an orca know that they are all bones and no meat? Your comment makes no sense. Most fish in the sea and seals are mostly meat, so what makes you think an orca seeing a human in the water thinks it doesn't have meat on it?

There are 0 documented cases of orcas attacking humans in the wild. There have been orca trainers who have been killed by orcas at SeaWorld though. Orcas do not belong in captivity!

Just like some other people I also have something on my mind for years. Some people are so lucky. So, if I will ever have the opportunity to swim with orca's I will not hesitate for a single moment. I don't think it's something strange for a human to try to achieve something you really like to happen. And I love the Orcinus Orca so much.

I missed a pod of 11 orcas last Saturday because we are confined here in Polynesia, what sadness !!
