Update on What I said: I ran out of Stamina on Level 32-33. So it's getting slower on the Gacha Side.

Rn I can't progress the the Fool's Journey not because it's too difficult but because my account lvl is too low. So to lvl up, I use up my stamina so I can reach the required account lvl to continue the Fool's Journey but now I don't have any stamina to do the Fool's Journey. Do you see the problem? This isn't strategically managing your stamina, this is a game design so that it takes longer to progress our accounts and waste more of our time by gate keeping content much faster. There is no need to have a stamina requirement if there is already an account lvl requirement since we need to use our stamina to lvl up our accounts already. Instead of allowing us to spend all our stamina for farming materials we have to spilt it with progressing the Fool's Journey. Yes if the content is too difficult then go farm but rn I have to farm since it's the only way of lvling up my account and then when I'm done I can't even play the Fool's Journey because of the stamina requirement. I still dont see the problem, you are farming to level up yes but its still a win-win situation because you are getting materials, and again, if you are out of stamina, play the story mode, if you are out of keys then do something else, there isnt a rush. if you are rushing for whatever reason then sorry cant do nothing else than to play another game and wait, i still dont see the problem.

If they keep only stamina cost for Fool's Journey and no account lvl req you can progress your account through the Fool's Journey till you need to farm. 2. If they only have account lvl req and no stamina cost then even after farming and reaching the account level you can still progress Fool's Journey. Rn you're forced to farm materials then can't progress Fool's Journey bc you're out of stamina. The point isn't that there's nothing to do after running out of stamina but that the current system of req stamina and account lvl for Fool's Journey is terrible

You make a great point! Thanks for sharing. I only played arknights for around a month so I'm don't know how endgame is but I did play epic 7. And you made me realize that both arknights and e7 also have this system where doing the "story" and farming materials cost stamina. And I realize that this game feels worse because 1. you don't get as much stamina 2. there is an account lvl requirement to continue which means that you hit the wall much faster compared to other gacha games. This issue is also present in arknight and e7 however I never really felt it because you get a lot of stamina refills and the cost to enter stages weren't as high. I also want to clarify that I don't think that the difficulty is infinitely increase but that it will cost more materials to build a character at higher lvls which means less stamina to progress through the "story". For anyone else who is reading this, the Fool's Journey is NOT SoC's story however it is a game mode that functions similarly to other gacha games, where story mode cost stamina to clear.

@@AkoreCh. oh i'm sorry if it looks like it, but i didn't mean to put words in your mouth.. my point of bringing that up is since the difficulty won't go any higher at some point, the resource you really need is to build 1 team and you could clear future chapters of the fool's journey without farming anymore.. and i do agree the fool's journey stamina cost is too high, especially if you only need to clear it once and forgot about it also stamina was never my concern on any gacha games i played since i just spent them and move to another game.. but maybe thats just because i play too many gacha games at the same time lol

@@habeeps4495 all good! it does seem like you could clear fool's journey with 1 team since the difficulty isn't too hard but you might still need to build other teams for the other content. i'm not too sure what endgame will look like since i don't follow the Taiwan version hey you got to feed the gamba addiction somehow 😆

@@AkoreCh. E7 did give out TONS of stamina, very true. However 99% of it went to farming gear. I think this will be the chase with SoC too actually.

I didn't realize this but that's prob bc of the point you made about them handing out so much free stamina. I didn't play R99 but did play e7 which had a similar system

@@AkoreCh. it’s both. A story mission costs like 16 stamina in R99, they give you a steady flow of 60 and 120 stamina refills, and level ups provide huge chunks of stamina refill as well. I was not once locked out of progression during R99 launch due to stamina. Now for SoC, they could keep the 30 cost per mission, as the stamina cost is clearly tied directly to voyager exp, but they need to give out more free stamina refills.

Yeah R1999 is the most clean and smooth gameplay experience i have in a gacha game even though it use stamina.

Or give players tons of energy pots, like most of other gacha games now

I totally understood your point. It's either push Fool's Journey or level up your characters. It'll be difficult to do both down the line. Also, those ''Journey Quests'' (the round wheel progression thing) for free items take up massive amounts of energy just to clear it.

I'm not asking for things to do after running out of stamina my concern is progression later on. Since we need stamina for Fool's Journey & farming materials eventually we'll need to spend more stamina for farming materials leaving barely any for Fool's Journey. And I don't see a reason for having Fool's Journey requiring stamina because we will still be timegated by our account level.

You don't need stamina for the story... the Fool's journey isn't story mode. Spiral of Destinies is the story mode which you can play for hours upon hours. No stamina is needed.

always have been like this for gacha games tho... this kind of games supposed to be your side game where you login, spend stamina and play another game or do something else.. the devs put some kind of limit so you play it everyday or pay them to progress faster, like any other mobile/gacha games gacha games where you don't spend stamina to progress the story are relatively new (like genshin and such), but even those have their own "downtime" to progress their story...

It's hard to say but I think this situation is not going to be a problem till account level 45+. Don't worry about being stuck due to stamina, there are game modes such as tower of conquest, pvp, and story that require no stamina. You'll have to do The Fool's Journey to unlock these but as a beginner you'll be able to get through the chapters really quick. @@DeadToy-01 2 or 3 days to finish chapter 3 and unlock all modes? Sure. But by that point you should still be around level 25 or so. And most of the story, as well as more efficient grinding stages, are locked behind higher levels - which caps at 60. We are nowhere near the end game.

Try to clear all tasks that can earn u pyrox. Event challenges, acheivements, quests etc. Also if u need recharge ap do not recharge more than 3 times. Once is the max if u rlly need save pyrox. Also do all the momotalks. But yea after beginning game does not give as much free pyrox so spend wisely and plan ur pulls ahead using jp banners (6mths ahead of global). Se a goal (what raid u wanna clear) then depending on what you need plan who to pull based on that. Clearing higher raids grant more reward which make u stronger and able to clear more content which gives more pyrox. Just some tips from 1.5+yr player

For ap make sure to upgrade ur cafe, that's where u get majority of ur daily ap. Do ur task since some of them give ap and u can buy some ap from the tactical challenge shop. Other than that u can recharge but that depends on u. If care about hitting max lvl faster or want to instead save pryox. Imo it's worth recharging since it'll make it easier to clear harder raids and challenges After getting all the stars from mission and completing the story pyrox mainly comes from events and raids so you won't be able to farm pryox as fast as you did early on.
