I love Dr. Tony's voice and logical and warmth. All the docs and therapists were good. Great video.

will the flexitouch lower body only benefit the entire lymphatic system as a whole?
@sheilastiles250220 күн бұрын
I have a Flexitouch, hardly use it because it is incredibly cumbersome! Period! Screwing around with 800 pieces of velcro on 2 legs and an oversized joke then account for 7 unruly heavy hoses. NAH! Please do better

I was just diagnosed with Lipodema after years of crying to my Dr that something is wrong! I was doing all of the dieting and nothing worked. I was about to have weight loss surgery but didn’t want to. The pain in my legs are so bad. It’s hard for me to walk or stand for very long. I get woke up every night with a burning feeling from above my knee to mid thigh. It wakes me from a deep sleep screaming. Please help! Who is a good Dr I can see in Arkansas? Tests I should have? Please help!

He mentioned genetics, my mom had legs just like mine, everyone thought it was just fat. Her legs hurt her so bad all of her life. She did not know about keto , so she ate all the wrong stuff.

I sure wish Dr’s would watch this. I promise, that most of them don’t know. None of the ones I have gone to anyway.

@stephanieb7063 Go with another manufacturer! Tactile only has a 2 year warranty. My garment has come unglued in a seam and they want me to pay another $675 to replace, apparently my warranty ran out last month. Insurance won’t replace until 2027. Real crappy customer service!

I was given equipment donated by former users by my nurses from an at-home nursing provider. Unfortunately, both the Entre system and the more complex Flexitouch system were operational. I would like to obtain the Entre system directly from them so it would work for me as I have severe lymphedema in both lower legs. After viewing the video, I feel confident their device would enable me to greatly lessen the swelling I have experienced for the past 24 years.

I had swelling for long time, over a decade, maybe longer, pitted edema. I self-subscribed many treatments. Doc's thought those tormenting pressure socks would help as they did know cause. Those socks just transfer swelling! they do a darn thing!! For a recent infection, I got doxycycline. Edema disappeared and never returned. You may want to try it antibiotics if you don't know cause of swelling. May be bacterial.

I've been having idiopathic edema after a strange illness. I've had it a year and a half. No Dr's help me and they can't figure it out. When I took a round of keflex it went away for a bit but it's been back for a while. Maybe I'll try doxycycline. What dose did you take and how long?
@kevinkall85472 ай бұрын
@@olivebranchcommunitychurch520 100 MB capsule twice a day for 10 days for skin infection. did not notice when edema had left but def was gone after 10 days had passed. Infection was leaving around day 5 or 6. may have been by then.

Surgery is considered a last resort. The pain is unbelievably strong in my case. BTW, diuretics do not help the issue of edema due to lymphedema. I suffer greatly every day and cannot express how horrible quality of life is.

This is wayyyyy more difficult than it has to be. If it isn’t put on correctly it won’t work correctly. They need to offer multiple size zip up garments WITHOUT the Velcro. You simply slide them on, zip it up and go. All this Velcro crap is overwhelming.

All treatment for lipedema is So expensive and medical aids do not cover any which does not make sense at all . How are people going to recover or be in a healthier state if medical we pay for does not help!

Garments are expensive but they really help, difficult to initially put on but one gets used to it . Once on they feel so comfortable and easy to move around.
