Very interesting playthough. This is the kind of game play I expect to see when someone plays it like an Ubisoft game. Basically, trying to find an NPC that tells them what to do rather than exploring and understanding their surroundings. The Autopilot is a good example. It is designed in a way to allow the player to understand how it functions but so far she hasn't looked into it and just crashed the ship repeatedly making the same mistakes. She probably assumes it is just a poorly designed feature of the game at this point. The same is probably true for the Islands on Giants Deep.

If you do a no-complaint demon souls run, you should 100% do it on the original/ps3 version. Would really make you appreciate just how far the games have come and would be fun to see you try to not complain about the jank and lack of QoL features!

It's been a year, but the dodge being useless is just not true. I couldn't for the life of me parry Romeo's infamous combo so I decided to just dodge all the slasesh and that worked. Also everytime I've beaten a boss so far has been because I started flowing between parrys and dodges
