I can remember Mick Nolan in one of the finals, not sure, but it was at the MCG he was taking a set kick just outside the 50m approximately it and he kicked a goal and the crowd were in awe they couldn’t believe it! Straight kick and that ballet run up of his!

I remember Mark Maclure of Carlton at Arden street running through Mick, and Mick didn’t move and Mclure fell over hurt! Like running into a brick wall! The crowd at Arden st all laughed! There is video of that on KZbin somewhere! Never forgot that! Funniest moment! Maybe GEzza KZbin footy channel has it! 😂😂😂😂

I was at the 1975 Grand Final. It remains as the greatest sporting event I’ve ever been to. Family and I got into the social club with Bryan Martin, Mick’s dad, who had played for North in the 1950’s. It was a phenomenal time and era for us.
