These things are road-legal and available in the US now? I wonder if they’re coming to Canada soon too…

Hopefully soon!

These do arrive to the dealership road legal but can easily be made road legal with the installation of a DOT kit.

Man that looks like Fun I run a 690R but the AJP has caught my eye for it's simplistic design and flexibility although you could probably cream that tower pretty easily in the overhanging branches etc/gullies. I find the 690 a bit cumbersome on tight winding terrain that's with small Tusk saddle bags though. Thanks for sharing 😊

I took my 390rrs to the dealership to have the ecu up dated and they told me to run the engine and add oil to the top of the site glass per the new beta buliten from beta
@EverettPowersportsOfficial9 күн бұрын
From Beta's service bulletin: "Engine Side: start by filling with 650 cc, start engine, check level in the sight glass with the bike running and in an upright position. Top off oil to fill 75% of the sight glass. (Oil level should be ¾ of the way up the sight glass.) The final amount should be between 700-750cc."

Is it street legal in North America?
@EverettPowersportsOfficial9 күн бұрын
The AJP PR7 650 can easily become street legal with the addition of a few accessories.

not bad 🙂i reckon the bike has quite a bit more before its limit though but yeah, plenty good riding on slim tracks on a big bike and we know its rougher than the video says so yeah, nice work - the sussers do really well eh !! Are they standard sachs still? Amazing that you have these trails to just ride - for us to get that here on my island we would need to do it 'illegally'
@EverettPowersportsOfficial12 күн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! The AJP PR7 650 definitely has more to give, and Matt was just getting started pushing it to see how far it could go. And yes, the suspension is still the standard Sachs-it's been handling these trails impressively! We’re lucky to have Walker Valley for testing out bikes like this legally, and we’re always happy to share the experience for all those who don’t have the same access. Appreciate the support and insight!

Great video, correct me if im wrong, but would the seperat oil system not help increase the amount of hours u can go before needing an oil change if im lets say, riding a bit of back roads, and around town and such?
@EverettPowersportsOfficial15 күн бұрын
Yes, the separate oil system can indeed help extend the interval between oil changes, especially when riding on less demanding terrain like back roads and around town. In Beta’s two-oil system, one reservoir is dedicated to the engine oil, and the other to the transmission oil. This separation can help reduce contamination of the engine oil by keeping clutch particles and other debris from the transmission away from the engine. For less intensive riding (as opposed to aggressive off-road racing or enduro use), the engine and transmission oils don’t get as stressed, so you can typically go longer between changes compared to a bike with a shared oil system under similar conditions. That said, while the two-oil system allows more flexibility, it’s still wise to follow Beta’s recommendations and keep an eye on the oil’s color and viscosity, as conditions can vary greatly. Regular maintenance is key to keeping these bikes in top shape, but the separate system is indeed a plus for less intensive, day-to-day rides.

I would really love to see one of these Beta bikes “in the wild, to me they have a cheap look but I can’t make an opinion based on that because I’ve never actually seen one in person. Just like any bike I’ve heard both good and bad things about them. Maybe one of these days I’ll actually get to see one in person
@EverettPowersportsOfficialАй бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We get where you're coming from, but we can assure you Beta bikes are far from 'cheap.' These Italian-made machines are hand-built with precision and top-tier components designed for serious riders. The craftsmanship and performance really stand out once you get to see them up close or ride one. We'd love to have you visit Everett Powersports sometime so you can check them out in person-we think you'll be impressed!

They are really well made. As for cheap, the plastics are brittle, but Acerbis aftermarket are made from good ductile propylene resin. The stickerage is gaudy IMO, but they come off leaving beautiful italian lines.

looking at this bike seriously, awesome machine, few moans about the Samsung tablet? gif ordering can they put Garmin instead i wonder?
@EverettPowersportsOfficialАй бұрын
We're glad you're seriously considering the AJP PR7 650! The Samsung tablet actually adds a lot of value to the bike’s setup. With Android, you're not just limited to the standard maps-it opens up possibilities for running various apps, customizing your navigation experience, and syncing with your devices. The tablet is rugged and well-suited for adventure riding, plus it's easy to update. While a Garmin might be familiar, the tablet brings more flexibility and modern tech to the table. If you want to explore it further, we’re happy to help!

Very under rated machine - super tool to ride & reliable…if it had Husky or KTM badge the factory wouldn’t keep up with demand…😂🏴😘🏍👏
@EverettPowersportsOfficialАй бұрын
Absolutely agree! The AJP PR7 650 is truly a hidden gem in the adventure bike world. It offers rugged reliability and a unique riding experience that stands up to the bigger names in the industry. Sometimes it's the under-the-radar machines like this that surprise you the most. If it had a different badge, it would definitely be a top contender in the market, but we love that AJP stays true to its roots, delivering quality and performance. We're proud to showcase such a versatile and capable bike!

Why do you think that it isn’t great for sand , and is that before or after suspension upgrades ?
@EverettPowersportsOfficialАй бұрын
This would be prior to suspension upgrades. If you did the KYB upgrade with a full-size rear shock as well then it would perform a lot better. The stock pipe is designed for slow and technical enduro riding. If you put the FMF Fatty or Beta Performance pipe, then it is a much more capable sand bike.

I just got the fatty put on mine..I've noticed i cant hold a gear as long when im trail riding . Is there anything to fix that or ,thats how it is?
@EverettPowersportsOfficial3 ай бұрын
Hello Josh, I dropped to a 13 tooth in the front which has helped tremendously with being able to hold it in one gear, but I think that I will go up a couple teeth on the rear sprocket to make it even better. Right now, the bike's sweet spot is 3rd gear, but I would like to be able to stay in 2nd for longer in the tight and technical terrain. -Mikiah

Wow, such a great review! I just picked up a 24 Xtrainer bc I’m a shorty and newer to the single track trails. Question - for the Flexx bars what height/rise and back sweep do you recommend? I live in the Portland area and have been hitting Browns camp and Binns Hill a lot lately. Amazing riding and such a great and supportive community around here!
@EverettPowersportsOfficial3 ай бұрын
Thank you! I personally am running the Enduro Highs with a 10 Degree sweep. It took a ride or two for me to adjust to them but now I can't imagine running normal bars again. They significantly reduce vibration, the rise on them feels great since I have shorter arms, and the sweep really forces me into the attack position and keeps me up forward on the bike. The PNW offroad community is great! You're in an amazing area for single track riding. -Mikiah
