I cant belive it, every one talking about Luke's talent, but nobody see he is in this sport over 10 years, Ronaldinho is gifted aswell, so what, if he preferred party and alkohol than football, so MVG, Peter Wright, Gerwin Price now they forget how play, how win? Talent is very importent but without hard job and dyscyplin means nothing. Give him time, and more dystans, dont push him.

The discussion regarding Luke being the next Phil Taylor is so incredibly silly. You seriously compare a player in his first season to the man that has won the worlds 16 times, the matchplay 16 times and many many more. I’m not saying Lukes not a good player (like many of his glazers like to believe). He’s gonna be a big contender with every major in the next couple of years if he can keep it up, but he’s nowhere near unbeatable in the current world of darts.

Lewis vs Wade is up there with Price vs Anderson at the Slam for the most amount of headloss in a game. Adie spent the first half of the game arguing with pretty much everyone about there being a breeze on stage, and kicked off at Wade when he denied it. Wade went 5-1 up, missed a match dart at 5-2 and then completely imploded and didn’t win another leg after that. Genuinely one of the all-time implosions in darts.

There were a lot of similar incidents like Price Huybrechts, Wright & Price (intro), Wade & Asada. I wasn't sure which ones to include and which ones not to include. That's why I left out these types of player vs player incidents, apart from the incident between Lewis and Manley, because that was the biggest one of its kind. Taylor Barneveld was also after everything was already over, in contrast the beer incident could have massively affected MvG.

He was incredible in this tournament. The whole tournament was one of the best , if not the best ive ever seen for standard. The amount of 100 plus avweages was a joke. I think a dutch dude averaged 108 over 3 group games and didnt win a match. MADNESS
