I'm 73 and have listened to Neil for many years also. I saw him perform in a concert a long time ago and enjoy his voice and music. God Bless you Neil. I love his music. He is a very talented singer.

I was a bit puzzled when I saw A Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond musical, and no songs from this album were included. So many of the themes in Neil's music--loneliness, pain, struggling, connecting and triumph--are beautifully captured on this album. JLS and Tap Root Manuscript have unique spots in Neil's pantheon--they're his most spiritual albums by far, both feature hymn-like music and include songs in other languages. I listen to this album when I take long walks, and it never fails to inspire me.

@@theoastrene8253 not that surprising that it wasn't in the musical. Although the album itself when a Grammy award and is absolutely brilliant and ingenious, none of the songs on it were big hits and if you noticed, all the songs in the musical were. Don't forget that Neil himself only did those songs from JLS very intermittently throughout the years. What I am surprised though is that there was absolutely no mention of the album in the ABN musical

Always loved when he sang the JLS songs in concert. I remember the laser show with the flying seagull over the audience. I'm only 60 but I've been to nearly 40 Neil Diamond concerts.

I've seen the genius twice. Not that long ago and he was really on it. He went out on a boat at Donagadee in Ireland. Just looking ordinary with his nephew or grandson, I don't know which. Morningside drains my eyes of tears. Listen to it intensely 😢

The man has no limits other then gods saying Neil you need to slow down your music will be heard for the centuries don’t worry relax enjoy your time. Actually in case you forgot I wanted to show you my accomplishments. Let’s start off with creating mankind, the heavens and earth along with the animals and plants and actually all living things big and small. So Neil what do you think maybe can collaborate on some really heavenly music with no words but just sounds.
