My euphoria also snapped on the tip section.I exchanged it at the shop for a new one.The new one broke on the first cast.The assassin bluefish I purchased has been working well for a few months now.

that rod most probably wasnt pushed in all the way (the tip and mid section) and snapped on the cast... i have 5 of them- they are bulletproof.

@reanrademeyer829 oh yes..excellent rods. Don't know the history of the rod. It was bought from an online store. I believe he's returning the rod and okuma will investigate.

See one of your subscribers, Deon gave you nice positive response on the Okuma Wave power Pro., Thanks Deon, if you thinking of buying it, you'll be buying a great rod with good backbone for any casting. Just a pity Gert's Okuma Euphoria's tip broke off. I would return it, it sounds like a faulty rod. Also great rods.

@WaynesFA-b1r Well I just went and bought the 14ft Okuma Wave Power Pro this morning...happy chappie I am. It even comes with a bionic finger fixed to the rod. First time I see a bionic finger fixed a bit offset but according to the salesman that is how it should be. Maybe try it out this weekend..🤠

@ImKofi the pump selector handle must be in the "filter" position. If its in the "circulate" position, then the water will bypass the filter and not clean. Make sure when you have finished cleaning the baskets and backwashed the filter, you select rinse setting. Run it on rinse for about 20sec. It will clean the pipes of the dirty ba washed water. Then put back on filter.
