I just watched this Mike Mooney played in a lot of groups, briefly in Spiritualized, Liverpool bands like the Wild Swans , and I think maybe some Julian Cope records ? I was shocked when I saw this, I didnt realise he was in the Furs touring group back then!

He was taking the piss. He's had on the web site for years now The Sisters are an "industrial Groove Machine" etc. etc. They're barely industrial, though, in reality. Too bad the man cannot sing anymore! The latest Sisters incarnation is godawful, meanwhile they just announced another US tour this past week (5/2024). I'm giving it a miss and I"m a massive Sisters fan for decades now.
