I'm not sure these levels would work well in a game with more acccurate physics, along with the art style straying away from the original, but I also don't see an avenue where rereleasing this would make sense with the work and licensing involved. It seems destined to stay as an obscure oddity. Would be nice if something new tried this at some point though.

I believe it's one sitting for any of the modes. It's a fairly short playthrough, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Look into importing it from Yahoo Auctions or Mercari using something like Buyee if you can. International shipping will be a lot, but it overall should be less expensive than ebay. Sometimes you can find it fairly cheap loose there too.

It's a shame it's exclusive to these devices. I'm sure Apple gave them a ton of money for it, but it would have at least been nice to have it on Android or a non-subscription service so that you can own it. Hopefully it won't be stuck there forever.

Check on youtube for an upload of the music from the game, that should have a working download link in the description. I was going to check an old hard drive for it otherwise, so I'm glad someone else still had it. I'm surprised it's still a little hard to find!

It's ok. I enjoyed it as a relatively low-budget throwback to Space Harrier, but by the time I found out how the touch controls worked, it felt way too simple and uninteresting. The flight sections in Kid Icarus Uprising have more variety visually and mechanically. The music is still the best part, completely unique compared to other games like this.

Yeah, it seemed to be a bit of a rush job. By the time you get to the true final boss, there aren't any sprite changes at all.

They didn't made more levels because Atari almost went bankrupt and they had to rush the release of the game

That sounds like a cool project, hope it works out well! There's been a few attempts to give it more levels on other versions, but they never feel right. Looks like Marble Madness 2 is getting closer to some sort of release, so hopefully that can scratch that itch.

I made two simple adapters for two Atari CX80 trackballs. The 5 volts are on different pins there an you also have a second button. You can use them in joystick mode with Tengen Marble Madness. Despite the joystick mode, you still have analog controls, but for maximum speed, you have to press the fire button. That's okay so far, but someone really should produce an adapter for all these Atari CX80s/Amiga mice/trackballs/Atari ST mice/trackballs/Sega sports trackballs to replace the Mega Drive mouse.

Yes! I've been waiting patiently to play it for a while now. Last I heard one of the prototype roms was circulating around modders looking to hack trackball controls back in, then they would release at least that in some way. Hoping to see that come up sometime soon.

It is not dumped. According to the video description this video was made by using a device to feed the video footage to a TV, and then take a recording of the TV screen. It sometimes shows up on Taiwanese shopping sites if you want to try getting a copy

Unfortunately, the rom hasn't been dumped yet. I asked a known bootleg dumper before about it, they already have a copy and said it has copy protection. Getting around that can take a lot of time, so a dump will probably happen at some point, but not any time soon.
