Is there any idea to add telescoping or just spacer to steering wheel to make it more closer to driver. I put the seat at the most far position to have leg room but steering wheal becomes uncomfortably far.

Mine didnt work stright away i didnt cut the wires and I just carried out the reset and it seems to be all working fine. Is it necessary to cut the wires?

We have a 20 year old LWB shogun 3.2 diesel here in the UK. We use it for towing a caravan. Only done 100. 10 thousand miles which is very low milage for it's age. We have owned it for 18 years and it's solid and never let us down, a great vehicle.

Is it a petrol pajero or diesel? 🤔 Coz petrol filter is different - it's a white color assembly with fuel pump inside, a bit tricky to replace as well

Is there any exhaust drone at any speed on the turbo back exhaust with the CAT and Resonator ? If there is I might go for the one with the full muffler ... im happy for a nice note when on the throttle but absolutely don't want a drone that makes me crazy on longer haul trips

@@Lazarus-aap this one was a 2006 and we now have a 2012 NW. There is the NS, NT, NW and NX. I would personally go for the NT or NW since the NS and NX have the dpf.

Mate for future reference and others. You should never turn on uhf while aerial is not connected. I can't remember why, but there is a reason. Been uhh interstate trucker for 30 odd yrs. Thanks for sharing

It is not powered by obd it is powered by either usb, cigarette socket or fuse tap 🙂

@ an obd port is to read the cars computer. The dash cam has no reason to do so hence it just needs 12v source to be powered on

Hi, i've got myself a Gen 4 2007 Pajero. Have the same stock unit as you ( rockford with the sound system ). Did you lose the amp by doing this mod ? Are there any screens that keep the factory amp speakers working ?

I'm from Greece, went to a local audio shop here and i was told there are 2 variations of the rockford system ( depending on the color of the wire clumps at the back of the mmc unit ). Mine seems to be the sh1ty one or at least thats what i was told, seems i need to also change my amp, since the factory one cannot be connected to any of the screens they offer. The whole thing doesn't sound very pro to me, since it is a standalone amp and you should be able to plug it into any system, anybody has similar issues ?

Dont have to change the chain only the upper guide and tensioner. If you really want to you can change it at 500k for good measure

Standard brembo pads are rubbish, i always use bendix heavy duty or ultimate pads, stopping power is black and white, bit more expensive but you definitely stop better.i get them on ebay there cheaper.

Pretty sure where you mount the main unit is largely irrelevant as the hand piece are often both a mic and a speaker all in one. At least that is the case on the Oricom and GMEs I use🤔

@ which model is the Pajero? I got a chance to grab a pajero 2012 platinum edition now. I am just thinking whether to buy or not. I am not sure how much km the pajero engine last. Currently the odometer is 196000. Could you please suggest me should I buy that pajero or not? If I buy how much it could cost for the next major service done. Appreciate your thoughts on this. @ not much for the 3.2 Diesel. Make sure it has service history and it should be fine. Ask the buyer if the following has been done: Valve clearances, timing guide, tensioner, manifold clean and general services. If not then I would recommend doing those around those ks. We also have a 2012 NW Pajero. Also check if they have replaced the engine oil cooler. If not just make sure you have cash ready incase the cooler fails. There was a bad batch.

Great video, have previously owned a 94 v6 swb Paj and currently have an NT lwb Diesel which has been great for 8 years. Looking to get an NW or NX if budget permits, love them. If the Pajero was a Toyota it would be universally worshipped as the best vehicle ever created. Love an underdog though!

So the short end to fuse on main power should be at battery end not charger end..fuse is there to protect the cable so always fuse as close as possible to the battery

Also you do have a smart alternator you can tell by the earth terminal, because you earthed through the body the smart alternator is reading that as a load.

@budget4x4life no worries..mine is wired the same but I'm using enerdrive 40+ and got no issues..you could still use the vsr as a safe guard ..just remember the more power demands if still using the factory earth cable you probably will have to go a bigger cable gauge
