I guess it will be good if you do a glide mod for adult dakotaraptor, that would be cool in my opinion, cuz after you grow up to sub-adult, you cant glide or climb on trees anymore. Ye, that would be nice :)

Yes! They released a new devlog in the beginning of this very year! They even showed off the T-Rex. I have a video on that and a link to the devlog in the description of it.

No, the T-Rex isn't released yet. The clip was just a developer playing as the hatchling in-engine.

I wonder what the capabilities for modding in this game are, is it just limited to graphics and textures, or could mechanics and even new playables be an option?

Skins are going to be next up on the line. But new mechanics & playables are not really possible. Probably changes/ adjustments to current ones can be but no new mechanics or playables.
