I got expirience something worce So a frontier zr was doing its normal route when he was behind my house i heard something popping i go check and... the zr hit a cable the cable was exploding like cracy in the hopper cover the guy turns off the zr the bin was haf emty hanging 5 minites kater someone comes to help they give up they stayed in the shade the hole time 3 hours later the cable company comes to get rid of the cable they cut it off then after this the zr whent back in to its normal route.

Did they change ur trucks on your route? I think they’ve rerouted everything cause a different ZR came for trash on my route, nothing on recycling yet.

@@Trashcollector16.No, They’re actually renting a place behind Aero airport along 380 as of rn, but they are planning to build a frontier yard across the WC yard on Airport road next year. But yes they’re using their yard to dump recycling til Balcones builds their own recycling facility In Frisco close to universal studios.

Awesome vid, It was a total surprise today seeing Frontier take over both of our routes! #5084 did my recycling while #5089 did trash. That rental truck looks like It’s got arm issues, hopefully they’ll send It back and get It fixed.

Yeah he’s having some issues with it, and it smells so new, normally it smells disgusting but these smell like brand new oil, metal and other stuff, (it was a strong smell) and it doesn’t look like they care to dump the old carts! So whoever still has theirs can still use them

@@Trashcollector16.Yep, the new truck smell doesn’t last long. I wish Frontier had yellow arms, but black Is cool cause you can’t see them get dirty. I dislike how tiny the truck numbers are as well. It’d be hard to see what truck comes lol. Plus Its gonna be a boring fleet with 520 ZRs.

I agree, I wish they bought a few different trucks and not just one model, but cool to see the recycling and the garbage trucks today are different colors just like the IESI trucks on my route back in 2010. And the trash made sure the lids were closed just like the one back in 2010

I was so little so I don’t really know but it was the side loader (recycling) that was still being used until this year and some rail type truck (for garbage) if I’m correct, again I was so little I don’t really remember

Thanks and yeah lol, those are from the curotto cans. Waste connections drivers don’t care if the cans break no more cause it’s not theirs. And we didn’t get a new cart cause they are not using toters, we only got the wheel fixed👍

Me too, ever since I was a kid ive grown up with IESI, Progressive, and now waste connections and am glad i did. I had to save a IESI recycling cart. Now that they are all gone in this location they are starting to become rare

Recycling in Searcy is now done the same day as trash, using pickup trucks with trailers I guess. They used to have 320 CNG DaDee Scorpions and Mantises, along with a diesel 520 Mantis.

The new carts suck In my opinion, The plastic material Isn’t as strong as the WC EGs and It feels heavier to move these… A lot of drivers don’t like em especially doin recycling since they squeeze easy and It’s harder to get the cardboard boxes out.

So true, do you know if they’re still passing out Toters? I’d prefer that than these, they are so much durable in my opinion. And I agree these feel different, makes me think there wasn’t enough planning or research done by the city for trash carts
