The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Gospel. Mark 1:15 THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR RIGHT NOW. REPENT OF ALL YOUR SINS TODAY, AND GIVE ALL YOUR LIFE TO HIM, WHOSOEVER READS THIS MESSAGE. ALSO, CALL ON THE EVIL OF ABORTION TO BE COMPLETELY ABOLISHED AND CRIMINALIZED TODAY; NO EXCEPTIONS. Hello, my name is Chuck, and I am calling for your great repentance. You must not have read what 1 Timothy 2 said about women; women are to remain silent in the church, and the man alone is reserved for the role of minister. Don't make any excuses about the women in the Bible going around teaching others; they weren't put in an ordained role. You are all part of a synod that has become more and more wicked each passing day, and I pray to God that you may all step down and repent of what you've done. I am also hear to, above all else, warn you about what is to come through these sources, from a brother in Christ living in Taiwan (which is why I can't sing "God Bless America" because America is paying to blow up the Taiwanese through China): revelationsix.com whengogcomes.com ezekielsfire.com notthebee.com freethestates.org You wolves need to step down and stop destroying your congregations. Actually, the women should be within the congregations, not in front of them, if you know what I mean. I say all of this out of love, because I want you all to repent big time of what you've done, and surrender yourselves unto the Lord. Also, when you do so, call for the IMMEDIATE abolition and criminalization of ABORTION, an evil that is the worst this country has committed against God. Denounce all sin, including homosexuality, transsexualism, drag queen lifestyles, etc., in love and in prayer for repentance. It is NEVER good to sideline any of these sins, or to pass them off during service. Let the women be silent in the church, let the man speak, denounce abortion and call for its abolition, and read the links above; it might literally save your lives. In Christ, Chuck

The present "step-backward" that some in the Methodist Church are taking re gay pastors and gay people in general is an indication that middle age and elder people are the majority in most churches and they are thinking with "the brains of the past." Jesus was all about love, charity and acceptance, not scripture or even ultra-morality! Our churches need to reflect Jesus and the continuing acceptance of all people. Young people don't go to church after they leave the family nest, Young people are fully accepting of differences between people where their parents are not. Presently our churches reflect the Middle Ages where everything was about sin and its avoidance. Meanwhile Jesus was all about love, charity, and acceptance. Where is Jesus in this disaffiliation issue in the Methodist Church???

Such a beautiful ministry moment…to hear these stories from folks in my community whom I know, have worshiped with, and continue to pray in concert with people on the journey of following Jesus.

Good discussion on the practical aspects of faith. Wade is a model for parish ministry in a diverse setting, and Alex is now exercising his ministry through the means of communication, just as Wesley did in his day. A strong pair to gain insight from. I was particularly intrigued with Wade's transparency with the process of his calling. Thank you both.

Thank you, Bishop Palmer. There is room for all at Jesus' table, where in our similarities we deepen our love, in our differences we learn to love yet even deeper, and in the struggle to embrace one another we learn the depth and breadth of a table of diversity and inclusion that loves beyond what we can imagine, a divine and holy love. In moments like the one we are in, when we as United Methodist brothers and sisters go different ways, we all lose our opportunity to receive a grace that justifies and sanctifies us in the midst of the struggle that seems to us to have no answer. Ah, well, each and all of us, journey with the One who has the answer. An answer greater than our minds and hearts can discern, perhaps even fathom. Greater. An answer and response greater than we are hearing.
