In the second movie (Aliens) the facehunger which impregnates Russ Jordan (Newt's father) isn't dark but the alien coming out his chest is a queen. It is not mentionned in the movie but I don't see how it could be otherwise, if the first xenomorph isn't a queen they cannot create a nest and therefore no infestation.

I think what stood out to me as strange, and I've not seen anyone, cover it or talk about this, could be a mistaken identity, like it looks like what Im about to suggest, but isn't, and its creepy no matter if im right or not, but, there is, for just a second, in frame on the low mid righ of screen viewing, all these face huggers jumping in and smashing through a door, glass goes flying as they pour in, and in the right side of frame, for just a second mid way there stands a dark shadow humanoid figure that looks to be walking with them or standing there and let them in. Giving the idea of it commanding their never seizing, unrelenting, onslaught. Thanks for reading.

Inspiration from Alien isolation yes but the face hugger swarm isn't from isolation it's from Dark descent which happens to be an excellent entry as a real time strategy if you haven't played it I highly recommend it.

Very cool! Love your attention to details I was not sure about so far, I've watched the seasons twice. One person pointed out that the 8 trees on the talisman could also be a deconstructed spider web. Not impossible considering the spiders are a theme that haven't been discussed or connected in the show yet. But Ethan talks about spiders right off the bat when he wakes up in the RV and his leg is impaled. We only saw the spiders once in the forest, but maybe they are a bigger clue than what the writers have given us so far!
