Ok, not bad, but the version with the headlights in the “eyes” area is the show tour version. The original George Barris car did t have those. Btw, the pin striping was a color created by George himself and is a blending of orange and red. This ain’t bad tho but I’d never buy it.

Yes. It's a very simple process. I do recommend using care when inserting the staff into the open hand as the fingers may be vulnerable.

I just bought one. You're camera shows the stripping too orange compare to the real thing. Thought it's not red as we all think, look at the recent Blu-ray of the series, it's between red and orange. But yes, it could be more on the red side... but it looks better in read than on your video.

A lot are criticizing the striping. Well, actually, the stripping is more orange than red. I've seen several faithful reproductions, AND the Actual Original TV '66 Batmobile created by George Barris. It's true (wish I could post a photo of mine here to show it). That being said, the striping on this model does seem a bit light. Still, this looks pretty good for 80 bucks. 😁👍

The trim is not orange, it's red. I won't buy it just because of the orange trim. Shame, because the features are good.

So I figure you put some batteries in while the camera was off, right? Also, can Batman and Robin actually sit in the Batmobile? Doesn't look like it - unless I'm missing something. Still, it's a cool classic.

One of my favourite 1/18 batmobiles. Straight out of the box you hit the red switch underneath and it fires right up. Very well priced and I am partial to diecast anything.

Cool car that I'd like to get, except the color of the trim is wrong. Anyone know where I can get one with red trim?

Red trim is the wrong color too...the correct color has always been orange-red. But if you want one with red trim, you should get the Eaglemoss collectible Batmobile with the 3D Batcave diorama. It's only 1:43 scale, and the wheels don't move, but the Batmobile pinstripe is definitely red. If you want the actual orange-red pinstripe used on the show, you should get any of the Hot Wheels-Mattel Batmobiles. The Elite version comes is in the same scale (1:18) as this Batmobile, and it's got a lot more details! Beautiful car, except it doesn't light up like this one does. P.S. The particular Batmobile used for this video appears to be broken, because the beacon of the siren light on top is supposed to flash like a police light.
