Should never release Signal crayfish back into the water, they damage our fisheries environment and damage the fish stocks, please read up about this for future referance.

Really enjoyed the video, wild Brownies, always great to see,as for the bottles, back in N. Ireland, along the river Lagan, at the weir, before it's tidal, there's fields, used by gypsies in the 70s, there's a place we called the 'bottle fields', I fished for Rudd and Perch along that part of the river, it's good to see that these places rivers and wildlife /fish are still of interest, are thriving and doing good.

Brings back loads of happy memories seeing that. I used to fish there as often as I could as a wee lad in the mid 70s and onwards. It was more picturesque in those days with the lily bed all the way across the far side and the dense trees behind. Eric was the bailiff at that time and he used to come around in his mustard coloured cardigan and collect our 10p day ticket money. We used to sneak on and night fish now and again too. Brilliant times for a young lad who is now 62 years old and still enjoying his fishing.

Super video, reminds me of friends I had, they kept everything, lurcher dogs, ferrets, birds etc, the young lad knows his birds, it's great to see, it's nostalgic and at the same time poignant as of these times we find ourselves in. Be good to go back to those times.
