Have to been honest... I did a lot of couple shoots... And this couple did everything I wish every couple did. They are not awkward, they know what to do.. It's everything you wish for! And creates incredible photos in general. But try again with a couple that never did a shoot, are pending on your ideas and directions 90% of the time... That will be a completely different shoot.

You have such a good energy and awesome results! You're exactly the kind of photographer I'd wish for when booking a couple shooting. 💝

I like to combine them, Sigma with Sony. For example, the indisputable best lens is the 35mm GM, it would still be sigma 1.2, but only because it has 1.2...and it's very heavy. And in the 85mm category, Sigma DG DN 1.4 is the king, far above GM. So for 35mm I go to sony and for 85 I go to sigma.

And for your KZbin videos? What lens ?

I think these turned out lovely! will be eloping in September and attempting to shoot my own vintage wedding video with an old camcorder lol we’ll see how it turns out! I’m a firm believer that doing it yourself really allows you the ability to get it exactly how you want it.

Great tips! I'm getting ready for my first solo wedding (so far I worked only as 2nd photog) and I am so glad I found your channel. I would only say: don't watch as many yt videos as possible. Because you'll get confused. Every photog has his own way, his/hers own approaches... I'd say when you find one you enjoy, stick to it. Just like I found you... I'm not watching others anymore. i'm just starting out with wedding photography and your channel has been an incredible resource! how do you ask your couples if you can bring someone to film your process? i need bts content for my socials and would love to bring a friend to film me, kinda like you do in your bts videos

Thanks for the tips! It’s always nice to revisit even after shooting many weddings! For some couples where the feeling is there, I ask the bride to tell the groom a dirty joke, so funny to see their whole face light up 😁 Also bring snacks and coffee, water or other drink. You’re on your feet, you won’t eat for a long time. Get a sandwich for the car. Keep two different focal lengths on each camera body and shoot with both, I usually have a zoom and a prime. Keep your wedding backpack simple, you can add filters and stuff but know how to use what you have first. A few artistic photos are nice, but most will just want simple
