I dont know why but this made me super emotional. Like my body had a tremble and it actually brought tears to my eyes! I dont know why, it was intense! Congratulations to our natives. ❤ After all you've been through. The attempts to wipe you out and you are still here, able to express your selves, able to stand up and not just say but SCREAM, I am here... YOU COULDN'T WIPE US OUT. I don't know why my body has the intense reaction it had, I can't explain it.

Fierce warrior cultures--the North American Plains Indians and the New Zealand Māori-both genetically from Eastern Asia. The Indians from north Eastern Asia, the Polynesian Māori from the Austronesian/Micronesian migration from the island of Formosa (Taiwan today).

To be indigenous, something needs to occur or evolve naturally in a place.....these people did not. They are migrants, all be it much earlier, from Siberia and Eurasia. They aren't indigenous at all.....And since when does skin color determine if a person is to be considered "Indigenous"? What about the Indigenous christians that inhabited Constantinople and were conquered by the Ottoman turks? What about the Scots who were inhabitants of scotland for as long as the natives inhabited north america? Are Scottish people considered indigenous? Why not? Skin color?

When i was a child we had a summercamp with the theme of first nation in America. We play the rolle of the Toscarora tribe. Does a tribe with this name realy exist or was that just a fantasy name for the Camp? Maybe i have to say, im Swiss and the Camp was in switzerland, so we realy dont know many things about the real first nation... We also choosed a name for this camp, i choss "tanzendes Wasser" who means dancing water. Would that be a proper name too? Last but not least, i read a book about a young and an old trapper who meets a Wolf, first they call them Mawoha (the bad) but the young renamed him as Ahyami (the good) and the old told him that Ahyami means more than that, it means Spirit of the Snow and he help to reach the afterworld. Is this also correct or falsh? Thanks to be kind with my inexperience and i realy aperciet to get answers from Peoples who are relatet to that. Na pou tou daman asurtati

Māori are the indigenous Polynesian people of mainland New Zealand. Māori originated with settlers from East Polynesia, who arrived in New Zealand in several waves of canoe voyages between roughly 1320 and 1350
