I was on a cruise I didnt pay for and our relationship was falling apart I was thinking thoughts like I could jump off the boat and it would all end but someone on another cruise had fallen off and I heard about it right as we boarded I was wondering why God would allow me to feel so emotionally destroyed while I was on the greatest vacation ive been on the tv in our room got 5 channels total nothing to watch but as I was thinking about jumping the tv behind me began to play this song and now its probably my favorite song theres something about it that pulls you out of the evil your in currently and gives you hope for a brighter future

I used to be scared of listening to this song as well as this traumatizing movie until I saw Stan get tortured, humiliated and banished from South Park just for not voting. Both of these events have been effecting me for years.

I am in love with this cartoon. I am in love with Abigail. I am in love truly in love with that song. It touches me so deep... Darn I am crying.

Again, James Horner was the MVP. Films like these are where he truly deserved oscar recognition. But its not uncommon for people who deserve oscars to win them for the wrong movie.

Horner was supposed to compose Harry Potter, but he turned it down.

This song is on par with Diana Ross' "If we hold on together" Land Before Time. Timeless and beautiful and hits on a soul level 🤲🏾♥️ I pray whoever sees this has everlasting peace and joy fill your hearts

I can't be the only one who's childhood mind confused this ending theme with Runaway by Real McCoy right?

This song was stuck in my head for a year. This song makes me miss my childhood.

Back then I was Happy with the movie. Today, watched it as an adult with my daughter whom I called Abigail and I'm mortified. Humans are terrible. And I feel absolutely terrible for Michelle who lost her parents who died in their own burrow and couldn't be saved. She didn't even get to say goodbye to them. That's horrific and traumatic. And I don't even want to know what the other parents felt when their children where missing. I get a knot in my stomach everytime I think about it.

This is better than MGWGO. RIP James Horner!

And to think, most kids today probably never heard of VHS.

I was mezmerized in this movie at my dearly departed grandma's house. It's one of my second most prized possesion and a destinct copy, in my language(danish) it sings of time when movies from less successful film dubbed in danish were common. I miss those beautiful animation in a top-tier dub.

Going by the lyrics this could easily just be a gospel song about Lazarus

James Horner was most well Known for films like Titanic, but his true masterpieces came from the many middle and low brow films he worked on.
