I was on a cruise I didnt pay for and our relationship was falling apart I was thinking thoughts like I could jump off the boat and it would all end but someone on another cruise had fallen off and I heard about it right as we boarded I was wondering why God would allow me to feel so emotionally destroyed while I was on the greatest vacation ive been on the tv in our room got 5 channels total nothing to watch but as I was thinking about jumping the tv behind me began to play this song and now its probably my favorite song theres something about it that pulls you out of the evil your in currently and gives you hope for a brighter future

For some reason, I always got this song confused with Run Away by Real McCoy and my brain would create a mashup of the two.

0:32 Always loved this scale from Horner. Brings a wonderful serious tone whenever he uses it. He uses it quite a bit in Deep Impact, Sneakers and The Mask of Zorro, for example.

32 years old, in my living room with all the lights on, and the first intro of the choir had my skin crawling and me pulling my feet away from gap under my sofa. I don't remember it being that scary in the movie!

I used to be scared of listening to this song as well as this traumatizing movie until I saw Stan get tortured, humiliated and banished from South Park just for not voting. Both of these events have been effecting me for years.

Again, James Horner was the MVP. Films like these are where he truly deserved oscar recognition. But its not uncommon for people who deserve oscars to win them for the wrong movie.

The beginning section of this theme would be perfect for the logo ID for Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's Imagine Entertainment, since dearly departed James Horner did the scores to some of Ron Howard's movies.

Come away, come away And your heart will understand Yesterday flies away But tomorrow's in your hand Come away, come away There's a place that it can be That you can be like once upon a time With me Once upon a time, we were flying Once upon a time, we were free Life once let us go as far as we could go Always remember once upon a time with me Come away, come away And your heart will understand Yesterday flies away But tomorrow's in your hand Come away, come away There's a place that it can be That you can be like once upon a time With me Once against the odds, we were winners We were all we dreamed we could be You touch night and day and made them go our way Once upon a time with me When we lived our lives like a story And the story ends, what will be? Where this life will go, I don't pretend to know Please don't forget that once upon a time with me Come away, come away And your heart will understand Yesterday flies away But tomorrow's in your hand Come away, come away There's a place that it can be That you can be like once upon a time With me When one story ends (Come away, come away) There's another (And your heart will understand) It's all up to us (Yesterday flies away) Don't you see? (But tomorrow's in your hand) You say, "Let's begin," (Come away, come away) And I say "Once again," (Come away, with me) And you'll find it's not once upon a time, But here and now, and you and me...

Back then I was Happy with the movie. Today, watched it as an adult with my daughter whom I called Abigail and I'm mortified. Humans are terrible. And I feel absolutely terrible for Michelle who lost her parents who died in their own burrow and couldn't be saved. She didn't even get to say goodbye to them. That's horrific and traumatic. And I don't even want to know what the other parents felt when their children where missing. I get a knot in my stomach everytime I think about it.

I was mezmerized in this movie at my dearly departed grandma's house. It's one of my second most prized possesion and a destinct copy, in my language(danish) it sings of time when movies from less successful film dubbed in danish were common. I miss those beautiful animation in a top-tier dub.
