When (if ever...) you use the A5000 as an effect unit, can you still use external MIDI CCs to control the effect parameters (as I can do with my CS6R)?

Yes midi is so easy on these units you can map almost anything

The workflow seems very menu intensive and tedious, but I like the sounds you came up with. You have some IQ going there or you've spent countless hours messing with that thing? Probably both. 🙂

Top vid bro thanks for this. mega menu diver but keen to learn this thing better. learning x3 rack samplers atm and it can be taxing at times - vids like these make it easier to grasp workflows

How can I get my sounds from my pc into the a4000 do I have to buy a 200$ scsi cd drive? Are there any other options?
@adat95473 жыл бұрын
I mean the cd drive is one way but with a really small ram you won’t even b able to get that much off a cd .. I just have extra outputs on my sound card and go direct in and sample one by one but if you get a new usb card reader in the front or upgrade ram you will have better luck.. I use the cd drive not very often .. if you can thrift one that’s your best bet

@@adat9547 Dude.... it has an auto sample chop and keyboard mapping feature. Check the manual for "LOOP DIVIDE." You just play in all your one shots relatively fast, and then run the feature.

It has internal drums too?
@adat95473 жыл бұрын
No but a very powerful synth engine with many filter options making it very easy to make kicks or laZer snares .. drums samples can b midi mapped to a keyboard or mpc when sampled In and all the effects can b mapped to each sample

Great video. I would love to see more sound design tuts and how you chop up breaks. Subscribed 👌
