Wow! As a female entrepreneur and former business leader - this is 🔥🔥🔥 The generational weight / our history as women point - it's essentially new for us to have legal, property owner, voting rights and rights over our bodies - relative to history - is HUGE! Unlearning the conditioning to be good girls, people pleasers and codependent as women is the work! And supporting each other as women, is so much more than cheering each other on. It's doing our own shadow work and not allowing ourselves to get sunk by insecurity, jealousy and release ourselves from our need for praise - through learning to VALIDATE OURSELVES! Healing from codependence also has released me from much of this, learning to identify how I'm feeling, validating myself, through support from healthy others who had learnt to validate themselves and validated me. Let's take on this torch and blast through - the time and energy is here and we are the chosen ones - if you feel the mission, you are the one in your team, your company, your family, your community to say ENOUGH - ENOUGH of playing small little woman! ENOUGH!

I wish this had way more views. ❤ It’s is so relatable, the struggle of comparison to form your women(ness) into the model of women who raised or influenced you. The power of realization that the blueprint we had from the superwomen who raised us was suggestive not to be photocopied but rather to transform you into the woman you are, and that woman is Custom made. 1 of 1. I come back to this often ☺️

I found that I loved Alanis and her music when I was 10. I’m 33 now, with a 10 year old daughter of my own, and I love that I can share Alanis as a role model and an amazing musician with her. 🥰 Thank you Alanis for being there, and for being you!!! 😊🙏💕

I’m confused. I just finished reading Wholly Unraveled: A Memoir. In the book there are 5 children (plus 1 who died at age 6 mo) but here Keele says there were 7 children. She also says in the memoir that none of the other children got hit except her, but here it seems as if all the children were similarly punished. Then she says “went on with her career, went on to college, I started a business” but the memoir credits much of the finding of her voice to her time at Madonna House, which seems to have happened before completing college and definitely before starting her business. I was fully connected with and moved by the memoir and was a looking forward to hearing more from Keele. Now I’m not sure if she’s telling the same story........What gives?
