Help, I have an old NETGEAR R7500 Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Dual Band WiFi Router that I got in 2015. What would be an affordable upgrade to this? My household is small. It's just my mom and sister. They use Wifi, and my Xbox is hardwired.

I have an anda seat, and the support rod's under the chair is poorly mounted, they broke and now my back rest go's back with out the lever, need better support if I'm going to buy from them again

Hey I’m looking to buy a 30 meter flat Ethernet cable (so I can feed the cable under my door while being able to close it) I see a lot of people saying that 30 meters is too long for flat cables and they have many reliability and interference issues. Is this true? I’m going to use it for better internet while gaming are there going to be any packet loss, high latency or any problems that will effect gaming. My internet plan is around 800-1000 Also wondering what the best brand would be to buy flat cables, Thanks

Round ethernet cables are generally better for long-distance transmissions than flat ethernet cables at lengths over 30 meters so if you have a cable run that's 30 meters or less you should be fine. Why use a acces point with 2gig port on a gigabit switch? Is there any benefit to this? I'm thinking of getting the router ER707-M2 to be future proof for 2.5g eventually, but i will do the switches and AP in gigabit speed (Wifi 6)

It's all about future proofing your network. It's easier to swap out a gigabit switch for a 2.5gig switch than swapping out an access point. It's better to have extra features and 2.5gig or 10gig ports than the minimum specs. Eventually you will upgrade your switches to 2.5 or 10gig and then your AP will be ready for those speeds. @@noz3m I would pick up a Wi-Fi 6e AP so you will have the all important 6GHz band. Wi-fi 6e APs usually have the 2.5Gig ports too.

Hey, 3-year check. How is this desk still holding up? I am wanting to build something the same and I am concerned over things like sagging and I just want to do things right. My desk will be a little over 12 feet long and support things like a 3D printer.

there are actually more and more devices, and Wi-Fi cards with native Wi-Fi 7 support since then it would be amazing, fabulous if I can afford and get Wi-Fi 7 devices but my current AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 router is still more than enough to satisfy all my family's demands and 1Gbps internet plan

Hey , I need some serious help as I can't find no answers online..can I use these gaming routers as a wifi extender to just extend my current main router downstairs so I can connect a gaming router upstairs in my room where my ps5 is and connect my ps5 to a gaming router through a ethernet cable to have wired connection? It depends on which router brand you have and how old is it? The newer routers can use other compatible routers to act as mesh Wi-Fi extender. Check your routers mesh compatibly, just google it. Hope this helps.

very well done sir. thank you for the time and effort. I have had a be550 for a while and with some tweaking of adaptor and router. from about 60 feet away and 3 walls away im able to get 2000mbs with my 2gig connection. if anyone has faster than 2 gig internet buy a be200 adaptor for you laptop or desktop(make sure its compatible) and change some settings(ask chat gpt) and you should be able to get very fast speeds even at a distance. i can see this thing getting 6000mps from 60 feet away and through walls.

You can unplug the primary routers power then connect to the secondary to get it all set up. Then plug the primary back afterwards. Hope this helps and thank you for watching!

I've got cat 5 cables run in a new house that my Internet provider refuses to connect to their equipment so it's actually getting Internet access. So what/how do I connect the switch box to the actual Internet provider's equipment??

It's pretty easy. Buy a 8 port or 10 ports switch and connect an ethernet cable from the LAN port on the Internet Providers equipment. And then connect the other end to any LAN port on the switch. Plug the power into the switch and then connect the other cat 5 cables to the LAN ports on the switch. Now all of your rooms with ethernet jacks will have internet access. Hope this helps.

F type connector is what goes on the end of the coax cable.
