Hey one question, can you go around the tree with this rotary plow. I want to go around olive tree with it. But I want to know if you can before I buy it

Do you need to pick the weeds up or is just uprooting them like this sufficient? Thanks for the video, I've been scraping too much soil off I think.

I find that just uprooting or cutting the roots is enough, but for some weeds like purslane I'll flip them over. You can do that with a little flick of your wrist with some practice. That way the bottom of the plant is exposed to sunlight, will dessicate faster, and less likely to reroot.

I’ve never used a BCD but they seem pretty good. Are you happy with it! Seems to do a good job. Take care!

Soil looks great, tiller working good, looks cumbersome at turns 1& 2.

Thanks! I have a lot to do to get ready for harvesting those little guys. I'll try to document as much as I can.

Great vid! You make it look so easy working with the slope. Do the yellow flags indicate the center of the bed? I have a BCS with the Groundblaster rotary plow and I'm struggling to achieve 30" wide raised beds. They keep coming out too wide.

The flags were points to aim for when I initially made the raised beds. I placed them about 30" apart with 6-ish inches in between for walkways. I think it's important to be meticulous in the beginning but now I just guesstimate when I re-form the raised beds with the rotary plow and the tiller flattens everything into nice, appropriately sized beds. The tiller makes everything look nice, flat, and uniform, and gives the tilth I'm looking for.

Any video of the results? How was your germination rate with this method? Looks like your daughter enjoyed the time with her Dad! Great video.

Don’t have any result videos but the buckwheat did well. Got busy with kids and career change and stopped making videos. I have some buckwheat seed left and got a seeder so I’ll try to do a video about that and other projects in 2021.

Would it be easier for you to start in the center so you wouldn't have to keep adjusting the handle bars?
@mattroth77433 жыл бұрын
Maybe, but adjusting the handle bars is easy and I'm making it up as I go.

I needed to see this. The flail mower sounds like a good idea but the brush mower would be more useful.

I've gone through some pretty rough stuff with my flail mower. Interested to hear what you've ended up with.

What kind of gas does our tractor take? How did the federal government mess up gas cans so badly?

Great video! How heavy is that T post puller? Would you be about to attach that wood base to the bottom to prevent having to bend over every time you need to move?
