Hi what lens did you have on the S9, at normal image stabilisation the S9 was better, but at the heigh \ dynamic level not much difference between the two cameras.

Coming from a gx9, it's amazing how lumix improved themselves. On the other hand, old video autofocus was just awful.

I couldn’t see a difference in stabilization. Seems both have the heavy crop in when using their maximum stabilization mode, (dynamic Active & High IS). I personally would never run around like this when recording myself, so even if this brings out the difference I would never appreciate it.

I've never seen someone do a webcam test using the S9. If it can be used as a webcam, can it do streaming for more than the record limit?

The S9 is just so much more flowing, natural, the Sony works until it jerks, to me this ruins a lot of clips.

@@TvBoxHead not true, as previous owner of Sony’s and current owner of S5II and S9, the “warping” happens if you actually try to show it, any normal handheld shots is not noticeable

I have an S5 iix and just recored 60fps for the first time. The video was broken up into 1 minute clips. Is this how it is supposed to be?

nope, maybe SD card problem? unable to sustain constant bitrate so it broke clips... try other bitrates or a different sd card

Also picked up an S5IIX recently - I liked everything about the S5 except for the autofocus, and so far it seems to be pretty much perfect on the S5IIX. For video it's just a really easy and enjoyable camera to use - it's awesome that it can record 4K 4:2:2 10-bit in h264, as it gives you a huge amount of shooting time on cheap SD cards, and that makes it great for vlogging etc. The image stabilisation is so much better than Sony, it's not even comparable 😅
