Hi, great products! Do i need loxone miniserver to run loxone audio server or it will run on its own?
@LoxoneINT
@LoxoneINT Ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for the question. Yes, to use the Audioserver you do need a Miniserver to automate it. However, you can use a Miniserver Compact (without the need for an Audioserver) as it has Tree Turbo onboard and can transmit audio signal like the Audioserver. Hope this helps. For further information, please refer to our website or reach out to our support team.

52:54 will commands with GETOUTPUT return valid values in actual release version?
@sirbuns1020
@sirbuns1020 11 күн бұрын
it seems that in loxone LiveView you only get the command, but yes in the browser or any environent which sends the api there SHOULD be a result value, but it might be a value as a JSON one, so it should be accessed by accessing it's key, maybe something like ,,output'' or ,,value''

Would this work with an Air Source heat pump from Daikin?
@LoxoneINT
@LoxoneINT 2 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for your question. The AC Control Air is built for AC Control not ASHP, a Modbus integration is more likely or a volt free contact for demand using our Heating Blocks. Hope this helps - for more information please reach out to our support team who will be happy to assist.

Why not microwave or even better mm-wave technology? Anything new for 2024 -2025?
@LoxoneINT
@LoxoneINT 2 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for the question. Microwave sensors can be falsely triggered as they can detect through walls and are also less sensitive when you walk towards them. Our PIR will trigger on motion (body heat) as soon as you walk towards it, and will then extend the session based on the built in noise sensor - giving you best of both worlds. Hope this helps explain why. If you have any further questions please reach out to our support team who will be best placed to talk you through.

Will this work with LG, Daikin and Samsung A/Cs?
@LoxoneINT
@LoxoneINT 2 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for the question. We integrate with various Daikin models but we do not currently integrate with Samsung and LG units. For more details on the units we integrate with please check out the full list here: shop.loxone.com/enuk/ac-control.html However, this does not mean to say we will never integrate with these manufacturers - it will be on an as and when basis.

it is worth adding one important fact that you do not mention, that when connecting via modbus we have two-way communication, and when using loxone modules only one-way...
@LoxoneINT
@LoxoneINT 2 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for your comment and interest. That would however not be correct for all modbus integrations - depending on the device used - it might only be 1 way communication as well. This is generalising modbus a bit too much. Hope this helps clarify things.

How does it work ? Is it applicable for indigenous single phase window AC , what are the other sensors and I/O devices used to control temperature, humidity , on off timing etc.
@LoxoneINT
@LoxoneINT 2 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you for your question and interest. It is applicable for both split units and standalone ACs - please find more information here: shop.loxone.com/enuk/ac-control.html . We also use the Touch family of devices (shop.loxone.com/enuk/catalogsearch/result/?q=touch ) for getting the temperature and humidity of the room. The ac control air just controls the ac and sends commands like mode ,on/of, target temp etc. Hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please reach out to one of our support team who will be able to chat it through with you.

why not a nano IO and a touch for nano? only for the nightlight?
@LoxoneINT

Yes, mostly to have the always active backlight, but also the sensors - even if it's in front of a nano io that is warmer it still gives you a good idea of temperature and humidity.

What is the difference between automatic shading and integrated automatic shading? I don’t get the point.
@JanZimandl
@JanZimandl 4 ай бұрын
It is described in the documentation. Integrated Automatic Shading is for motors that are Loxone ready. They report the shading position and maybe other attributes. I guess usually via tree.
@LoxoneINT
@LoxoneINT 4 ай бұрын
Hi, Thank you for your comment and question. The difference between the two is that Automatic Shading can be used with a lot of the simple third party motors on the market that have 2 relays - up and down and the outputs and properties are set for it. Automatic shading integrated is for (loxone ready devices) that don't require such outputs and work "out of the box". Please see the Loxone documentation on this here: www.loxone.com/enen/kb/automatic-blinds-integrated/ I hope this helps clarify the difference for you.

If I have a nad audio system, with knx, can I integrate it in loxone with a knx gateway?
@LoxoneINT
@LoxoneINT 4 ай бұрын
Hi Chris, Thank you for your comment and question. It really depends on the specific system and it's usage. Similar systems have been integrated to a certain extend - for example volume up/down/next song/play/pause. However, the source selection will still need to happen within the audio system's interface, unless you have a Loxone Audioserver.

I find your products very innovative and interesting! But I have a modern internet of things system from ubiquiti and unfortunately your system isn’t compatible… Could you please partner up? Many people think likewise and would be very excited if you cooperate! This would make use of the ai cameras and make a more connected and holistic system. For instance if a specific number plate is detected in the underground garage, then an automation could make the elevator come and then go to the regular destination! Plus then the home could go into the desired mode and choose the music playlist that corresponds to the car’s vehicle and the same with the heating/cooling! This is helpful for a family where members have different preferences!

Hi Chris, Thank you for your comment and interest in Loxone. Wi-Fi and IoT products tend to be very network dependant and if there is a change of router without a rework/heads up it can cause a lot of issues and make things stop working due to different VLANs or Subnets/Reserve Addresses etc. Regardless we are working on improving integrations more in the direction of general protocols such as Matter. Some ANPR cameras are already possible [ www.loxone.com/enen/kb/smart-parking-system/ ] and I'm sure that the future will bring more software to expand on the functionality. I hope this is useful information.
