Just stumbled upon this. Thank you for sharing. This day is burned into my soul. Was so hot, then the rain right before Jane's. Every band crushed it. And the tickets were like $26! This was a special era.

This was most likely from early 1986. At 0:16, the infamous Rozelle headband that Jim McMahon wore against the Rams on January 12, 1986 briefly appeared on screen. I don’t know if it was the actual game worn headband or a replica. I think Rock N Roll Heaven closed sometime in the late 1980’s.

I don't even recognize the god he is speaking of. Grace is not about someone sitting up on a throne excited to fry people in judgement. Quite the opposite. He admits that "half of the Bible is very good." He is onto something there. Because Grace began after the cross and the Bible cannot be read the same as it was in pre-cross days. Too many preachers do that. God DID come down to earth and show Himself, but people need to make the choice. All that aside, King is one of my top favorite vocalists/songwriters and I am proud to call myself a fan!!

This really was the time to be young and alive. Give anything to go back and live it all over again. The times are just so screwed up now late years from then. The younger Generations will never understand what it means to be alive.

Like so many below, I was there as well. Right before they came on, when it began to pour, someone took off the tribal drumming music they were playing through the speakers and put on Peter Gabriel’s “Red Rain.” And thousands of voices all sang along. What a band, what a show, what a time in life.

The difference between Christians and Satanist is, the Christians try to ram their crap down your throat. Both are fiction, but interesting how the "nice" god loving folk are the mot painful.
