Test the resistors with an ohmmeter. Test the blower motor by applying 12 volts directly from the battery terminals to the motor's terminals. Test the resistors and the switch and the blower motor at the same time by checking voltage at the blower motor's wires. I believe the blower should be running at least on low whenever the key is in the 'run' position.

I just had to cop these piece online and it cost me almost $150 brand new... had to be done. I see you were like me and changed the blower motor/relay/resistor also at first trying to figure it out

Check the back of the control unit and make sure the cable is connected or it might even be stretched...sounds like u got a blend door stuck closed when u switch it to vent

I ran my vacuum line to the back of carb i had the exact same problem but on the back of the control unit make sure it's turning correctly kinda hard to explain what i mean

Check your vacuum line under hood on passenger side if it's not connected or got a crack in line it won't allow your air to switch between vents

The rear speakers I believe you have to access from the top from the Package Tray (Rear deck). You may have to remove the side sail panels to access it. That's how majority of these old GM cars have been. The Trunk Emblem keyhole normally is attached by 2 rivets. You can get a cheap rivet set from Harbor Freight or rig it with nuts\bolts thin enough for it to open and close. I'd just rivet it back. Looks like the original holes are still there.

Check and make sure your sending unit is grounded good might just be ground i had a issue with mines before but decided to just replace the sending unit since I had already bought a new one
