私は今でも、吉原炎上の物語の後に空知が『月詠』で執筆した際の編集者の決定に疑問を抱いている。空知先生が御庭番衆編を思い通りに書いてほしかった。そして空知は予定通りもっと早くに池田浅右衛門をデビューさせてほしかったと思う。元死神は銀時と同じ経歴を持つ。父親と兄を亡くしたこのキャラクターが、住居としてカブキに参加するのは理にかなっています。月詠はすでに成長していましたが、ヒノワは最も苦しみ、鳳仙によって与えられた虐待に対して何の注意も払われませんでした。

I first started watching this anime just to kill some time. And so I only expect to see comedic episodes all throughout the series, but I was shocked when I saw the first episode of the benizakura arc. Like, it was serious all throughout. Then I got so hyped because of the cool fighting scenes and that is also where I got finally hooked into this anime. I realized that the show has a lot more to offer and I ended up getting really curious about gintoki's past and how takasugi ended up like that. The benizakura arc is so memorable to me as it was the reason why I decided to take gintama seriously and not to drop it.
