Hi, I am not sure about the golden case, as I have not used it before. I only know that you can get more credits when using the case. It is possible some of the items that are dropped may differ from the two difficulties. But the items from many of the breakable item boxes are partially random. The game actually checks to see what items you need. It is not uncommon to get multiple of the same items, especially if you are low on that item. For example if you are low on health, and you don't have any first aid spray on you, or any other healing items. The game will try and give you more green herbs for health. Same thing goes with ammo etc.

I did not know about this, let me test it out and see.

@@leachblah6313 Hi, I did some testing relating to this, with the latest version. I tested with the M1897 shotgun and also the semi-auto one you get in the late game. If you try to block smaller enemies that have weapons, such as swords, axes, you will always take damage. However, if the smaller enemies drops their weapon and just tries to grab you. Yes, you can actually block all the damage from the grab, it seems Ethan doesn't lose any health. It doesn't matter if you use the shotgun or not, even the handgun or the rifle still works. There appears to be no significant difference in damage reduction relating to which weapon you equip on Ethan. But, if multiple enemies try to grab you, then it can sometimes do damage. I am not exactly sure how it works, perhaps it is related to your characters orientation. It seems if you face the attack directly and block, it won't do any damage, but if the attack comes from your flank or side, it will do a small amount of damage. It seems attacks from the rear will do more damage. Timing the block doesn't seem to matter, you can just hold the block and it still works. Also, any attacks from larger enemies, such as bosses will always do some damage regardless how you block.

@@NICKSPchannel223 Thank you for your effort. Results are interesting. I rarely block with shotguns. Maybe that's why I didn't notice it. But it's kinda disappointing. They even added metal to metal friction sound and sparks effects when blocking with shotgun but Ethan takes the same damage as any other weapons.

Yes, there appears to be several beetles in the game, one from each major location in the game. One in village area near the lakeside settlement, but you can only get in Chapter 4 when you return to the area. The one in the castle is unique because even when you miss it in Chapter 8, you can come back to it later as long as you don't go to the top of the clock tower, but the others, you cannot go back once you past the area/chapter.

Hi, this can a bit hard to explain, but with Carlos punch, you need to press the punch/tackle just before the enemy starts its attacks, not before the enemy is about to hit you with the attack, it is different to perfect dodge, it requires you to take action before. But, you cannot do it too early as well, if you do too early, Carlos will not do the punch, just the tackle, which does not stun the hunter for very long and exposes you to more damage. Secondly, the game has a hidden difficulty adjustment, which makes the game harder and harder, the more punches you hit. So effective, it is more and more difficult to counter the hunters instant KO. To make this even worse, the hunter will spam instant kill attacks at close range once its carapace is damaged. Since the cross punch does very little damage and you need to get so many punches in, eventually the hunter will be able to land the instant kill. So, the trick I showed here in the video is to keep distance from the hunter. For many reasons, first the hunter will rarely use its instant kill, since the attack has a short range. Secondly, the hunter will likely to use its running attack, which is not only easier to counter, but is also not an instant kill. Additionally, even if you get hit by the running attack, it is fine, because as soon as you take damage, the difficulty adjustment will drop, making the next few punches easier to land. I also showed that you can move to the hunters flank (not back), and this somehow stops them from using the instant kill attack. The hunter will not use its instant kill attack if Carlos is on its flank, or if it is it is on Carlos flank, or if Carlos is behind it. But if you stay behind the hunter, it will do a quick backward attack which can be difficult to counter. So, the best way to defeat the hunter with only the cross punch is to just try and avoid getting too close, let the hunter come to you, bait its easier attacks and then counter punch.

Green red and yellow is the best combo, because it gives max HP and a full heal.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, the game can be very challenging, I actually wanted to work on a separate strategy on the final boss, but just never got around to it. Once I finish with RE4, I will try and do it. Not sure if things have changed since I last played, which was a long time ago. But there is a memory which causes enemies to take extra damage for a set amount of time, it is basically a negative debuff called "weakness" I think, and it can do insane damage when it is stacked with shadow round and menacing stance, it is actually better than armor reduction because armor reduction can only reduce the armor to zero, once it is zero, it cannot go lower, the debuff, however, can stack continuously and it will cause more and more damage to be taken. I tried this on the maid already, and you can defeat her basically without her "transforming" into the third phase.

At first, I didn't know you can shoot the lamp, but later on I found out you could just shoot the lamp with the handgun and it is easier. Avoid using the knife, it also makes it harder. I played Amnesia before I played RE8, so I thought it was the same type of puzzle.

The gate in the graveyard will not open in the beginning, it only opens once you have progressed past a certain point in the game. You have to complete Beneviento's house, i.e. defeat the creepy doll boss. Then return to the graveyard, and the gate should open. Then you can grab the stone slab. After that return to the entrance of Beneviento's house to put the stone slab and get the treasure.

@@oscarllamas8524 If you have passed Beneviento's house, then the gate should have already opened in the graveyard. There is no need to go further. Can you still return to the village area of the game? If not, try and load an earlier save file.

As long as you don't get the exclusive upgrade, if you sell the weapon, you can get most of the credits you used to upgrade the weapon back from the merchant. If you have already got the exclusive, then it is better to keep the weapon. Another way to get ammo quickly which I did not mention in this video, is that you can put all your other weapons in the typewriter storage, except the weapon you are low on ammo, say the magnum, then run around the map and open as many crates as you can to try and get more ammo. This takes advantage of the games RNG, which usually spawns ammo and items that you need. Unfortunately, this is not a full proof method because of the RNG. Also, there are some item crates which can spawn more ammo than others, so you need to know which ones to open to increase your chance.

really? I upgraded it fully the second I got to chapter 6 or 7 the castle one you just have to do a bit of side quests instead of just doing main missions

its cheaper if you just buy and hoard Recourses / gun powder plus use the 2 Magnum charms as well as putting all your weapons in storage ( in the easy run through chapters) and let RNG drop Magnum Ammo for you.. this way you dont loose your exclusive ticket upgrade as well as all the money your loosing buying back and upgrading the Gun again.

Hi, it has been a long time since I played this game, but as I remember, get to the house with the red chimney/roof (I think), in the main village area. There should be a door/gate nearby you can open with the iron key, you need to open the door, and get through. I remember there is also a ladder around? To the right side, there should be a small cabin, inside you can find the well wheel. Because you need the iron key for this, you will have to have finished the castle section of the game, i.e. defeated the big tall lady.

I am not sure if there is a way to remove the armor, I have tried it in the game to sell the body armor/combat vest, there appears to be no way to sell it back to the merchant for some reason. If you want to do a no armor run, you have to make sure not to buy it I think. Maybe the game developer "wants" you to use the armor.

@@NICKSPchannel223 Without mods, there is only one way : 1. Find a way to break it 2. Save your game. 3. Reload your save. After doing this, the vest should be "invisible" until it is repaired. Or else, you can use a mod if you're playing on PC ❤.

@@irisd4rkangel946 Hi, do you mean the one that gives you +10 action points (haven't played the game for a while). Unfortunately, I am not actually sure how to farm traits exactly, but some traits will happen if certain conditions are met. For example, I always get this +10AP trait on my blade masters, but it is hard to get this on my shield bearer. Maybe it is related to how much damage/kills your daughter makes, since my blade master always deal damage and kills, it is more likely get this trait? Not 100% sure. I know that if you do not take much damage, your daughters may get the "arrogant" trait more. After many playthroughs, some traits I always get, others I rarely get. So I think the traits you get is a combination of RNG as well as non-RNG conditions, i.e. if you meet certain conditions, there is a chance your daughters will get a certain trait, but it is not set in stone. Also, certain traits appear to be only available after a certain time, i.e. after progressing the game past a certain point. For example, there was one trait I kept looking for that gives you extra experience, so you can level up faster, but it requires one daughter to deal a lot of damage to enemies, but leave the killing blow to another daughter. I tried many times to get this, but was never successful, only managed to do it once and it happened rather late into the game (in the fourth week I think).
