@@OmolajaJumokeMulikat as for the cartoon character to buttercream, you don't need any glue. Just place it on the buttercream immediately you finish decorating and it will stay

Messy paste is marshed fondant mixed with little water. You can also use royal icing that is slightly thicker

My question is: when you talk about cake size in height, how do you know how many cake layers that would give you a particular height. Cos you can only measure after stacking or decorating. So for every one layer of my cake, I get a 2 inch high cake So three layers is 6 inches high 4 layers is 8 inches high. I bake my cake to get to half of the pan or a little above half because of trimming
